Nice pickups
Really nice pickups and not just for the price. You have got a definite vintage-style construction with cloth push-back wire and fibre tops and bottoms to the bobbins. Each pickup base is clearly marked with B, M and N, so there's no mistake as to which pickup goes where. The leads were the right length for a standard Strat fitment and didn't have to be cut at all, but you might need to extend the wires if you are fitting to a different type of guitar or going in for some fancy wiring scheme. Like some other reviewers, I found the DCRs to be lower than stated, measuring 6.3k at the bridge, 5.9k in the middle and 5.6k for the neck. However this gives a really nice clear chimey sound, which was just what I wanted. The output signal is still very reasonable. Even the bridge pickup sounds nice, which is quite rare on Strats. Note that my pickups are fitted to a Strat Mini, so all the pickups are connected to a common tone control. With a standard Strat arrangement with no tone control for the bridge pickup, the bridge may sound a little bright. Well worth modifying the tone control arrangement IMO. The neck pickup poles are roughly 50mm spaced, whilst the middle and bridge pickup poles are roughly 52mm spaced,. So, a move away from vintage authenticity but better from a practical point of view. My one real criticism is that the pickup covers are far from vintage looking, with a slight green tinge to them. Very shiny as well. I rubbed mine with a grey ScotchBrite pad to take the shine off, and tried staining with cold tea (some uptake but not much). But they now look a lot better than when stock. Initially I did try replacing the covers, as I had some 'aged' Fender and Bare Knuckle covers lying around, but found that the pole spacings isn't quite current Fender standard, so they wouldn't fit without enlarging the pole piece holes. Hence the DIY ageing attempt. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade to a cheaper Strat-style guitar with ceramic pickups (remove the scratchplate and you'll see magnets stuck to the back of the pickups if they are ceramic types). But I'd also recommend them for getting a good clean vintage Strat-style sound on any Strat that has quite muddy sounding pickups.

great product for the money.. but still a great product.
absolutely blown away with them. clarity is great, bass, mid's and high's are all clear and tight at all volumes. great product for the money, but also a great product compared to pickups that cost 2-3x my only slight gripe is they are for 7inch radius necks. which means the poles are staggered. on a 12inch radius neck, there not really needed. still VERY NICE TONE!.

Pickups
Well worth the money very very pleased with them, for the price can’t fault them, they have turned a cheap guitar into a mid range guitar, same day delivery as well.

Really good for the money….
I’ve owned numerous guitars, and upgraded pickups numerous times over the years. I fitted these pickups to a Cort G200 strat type guitar I bought as a knock around guitar. But since fitting these it’s become my favourite guitar. These really are damn good pickups for the money. A really lovely growl to them with a little gain - but clear and precise when played clean. A bargain at the current price in comparison to more expensive named brands.

All props to the vendor for for making these with quality parts, I truly appreciate the pushback cloth jacket, it makes installations super easy. What they spend on parts, they're not spending on marketing or R&D. These pickups were only a hair under 4k Ω each (they all clocked in at 3.98k Ω). They are slightly larger than the holes in the pickguard, but that was not surprising. These went into a cheap Hamer Slammer that I got for free. I collect guitar parts and cheap guitars to fix them up, put better electronics in them and give them away for free at Christmas to families needing but not able to afford a guitar. So, the fact these didn't fit is not surprising, as I had to Dremel all the holes in the pickguard bigger to fit the pots, 5 way switch and pickups, so I don't knock them for this. Getting it all setup and working, the pickups aren't as loud as I had hoped, but break up rather nicely. I have only tried 5-10 songs on them, but they make for good upgrades for those cheap strip ceramic magnets most cheap guitars come with, but not a huge upgrade. They really shined when I played 70's Southern Rock (Blackfoot, Skynyrd, The Outlaws, etc.) and songs that really showcase the strengths of single coils. The pickups are the voice of the guitar, and these leave the voice a little softer than I was expecting, but have ok clarity and break up nicely when pushed. For what I do with them, they are perfect, and I may revisit these in the future. TL;DR: Perfect for beginner instruments, not much else. Pickups are lower Ω than listed. EDIT: After some playing around, I found their niche musical strengths and gave them 5 stars from 4. Southern Rock and definitive Strat songs really make these shine.
