Using in a two battery setup in my truck. With a flip of a switch I can charge the second battery while engine is running or cut it off to play the audio system without running down the primary battery.

I have had this isolator for about a month now and so far it works great. I am using it to connect and disconnect a supplemental charger for a solar powered antenna station. The battery bank is typically powered by the solar panel, but in the winter, sometimes there isn't enough daylight so the batteries need a supplemental charge from my generator, which has a 12v charging output. I just let the generator run, charging the batteries until it runs out of gas. The problem with doing that, before using the isolator, is that when the generator would run out of gas, it would remain connected to the batteries and drain the batteries. With the isolator, as long as the generator is generating power, the isolator stays powered up, which energizes the relay and connects the charger to the batteries. When the generator dies, the relay opens and the generator is disconnected from the batteries. Works like a charm. This relay is installed outside (although covered) in the elements and in temperatures down to 0 degrees F and it has worked great all winter.

Good but need to pull a positive wire from the ignition .

Solid battery isolator for the price, seems similar in quality to your basic popular good battery isolator brands like stinger etc.

It do what it say it do I forgot to put a fuse on the remote positive in a previous config and the wire burned up but this thing didn't even flinch. So far it has lasted over a year. Always a good idea to wire in a manual switch that is parallel to this switch so you have a backup.
