Perfect Fit but Jacked Up
These struts are a perfect fit however, the rear set never settled down so my 2011 Mini Cooper S looks like a jacked up 70s hot rod. Hopefully it settles down someday.

Easy to install
The first one my husband put on took a while as he’s never done them before but once he got it done it took about a half an hour each for the other 3 if that. My daughters Car is a 2008 Mini Cooper R56. They do come with all the bolts you need.

The fit into the front knuckles on the mini cooper is tight. Requires additional persuasion.
The rears were perfect. They went in with very little effort. Easy swap out... The fronts, however, were not for the inexperienced and unequipped. I had to remove the finish from the bottom 2-3 inches just so they would slide into the knuckle with force. The combo brake line bracket/positive stop and locking shank for both sides were not welded on squarely. This created a double issue. The strut would not slide in far enough without bottoming out on the stopping point of the bracket so that the clamping bolt could slide through the locking shank. Besides removing the finish on the strut, just enough to get it to slide into the knuckle, I also had to rasp out the bottom edge of the locking shank hole to get the bolt through. Ride height and performance seems good so far. I guess only time will tell. I am not looking forward to having to drive these out of the knuckle if I have to change them. I would recommend paying a little bit more and get a better quality set for the fronts.

Now have intermittent knock from rear
Intermittent knock from rear on rough roads since fitting these coil overs. It sometimes goes away for a while, then returns. Maybe they need more break-in miles, I don't know. All fasteners have been checked and were tight. Very annoying.
