I purchased some fine jewelry and could not work the C clamp with my acrylic nails. I was leery of using a regular magnetic clasp because i felt the jewelry could accidentally come off too easily. The materials are just right for strength and use.The magnetic feature is hands down amazing when working with anything but steel.I made a purple titanium chainmaile choker for my GF with this as the clasp.Chokers are always a pain to close from what i understand due to the tightness. But a single magnetic click and a few twists of the fingers it makes life so easy for her. no guessing or fumbling.the magnets are strong enough to find each other quite easily and the ones i used were aligned very well.I can see this type of clasp being easier for anyone who has difficulty with arthritis, fat hands, or anything that can makes fine motor control difficult.Replace clasps on jewelry with these so any handicap for jewelry use is minimized.

I purchased these because my nails were getting too long to be able to hook my necklaces. They are awesome! Not only are they magnetic but they are screw in attachments as well so your jewelry is double secure. I have not worn them long and I understand the metal may fade because it is not sterling but they are great for what I need them for and I will continue to re-order.

I have necklaces that are hard for myself to put on because the chain & clasp is very small. Adding these clasps makes each much easier to put on and take off.

The ability to put on and take off my necklace without the assistance of another is wonderful. The clasp are made of good quality, the magnet makes easy work of the two ends joining together and the clasp is screwed together to ensure my necklace does not come apart. Although I wear makeup and lotions the clasps are holding up nicely...no tarnishing. I've washed the necklace and clasp both many times without any harm to the clasp.
