Love these types og box cutters. I carry it on my side and it makes me feel like I'm at a shooting gallery when I'm working.

This tool is excellent for opening boxes in retail. It’s very sharp, easy to handle, and makes the job much faster and safer. I’ve been using it daily at work, and it has held up really well without any issues. The design is simple but very effective, and it saves me a lot of time. I highly recommend it for anyone working in retail or logistics, or for anyone who needs a reliable tool for opening packages.

At my place of employment, I personally go through anywhere from 20-100 boxes a day, of varying degrees of cardboard width. From just opening them, to cutting off the lids, to completely taking them apart. I have tried many other different types and styles of box cutters, and have found flaws with all of them, some more then others. I purchased this after noticing a coworker with this box cutter, and asked to borrow it when he was on his break. I loved it so much, I purchased my own here on amazon later that same night. It come in a few days, and has not been a disappointment in the least. It attaches to your belt or pants pocket, (or anywhere else you want to clip it to), Just squeeze the trigger to release it from the holster, slice, and put back. Little worry of losing it thanks to the cord that extends further then my arm length. You don't need it longer then that. If the trigger is not being squeezed, the blade remains withdrawn. It has a good grip, so the cutter will not slide easily from your hand. This box cutter also features a locked setting, and three additional settings that determine how much of the blade will come out. I personally keep mine on 2. You can also store a back up blade in the box cutter itself. The blades are cheap, and easy to find nearly anywhere box blades are sold. It comes with two. No more ripped pants pockets, losing them, or fumbling with them. This has saved me quite a lot of time between looking for box cutters, trying to get the damn things to open, sliding out of my hands that can easily be slightly sweaty, and money from buying new pants. It has also become very handy just around the house, such as opening delivery packages and presents. So even if you don't work with lots of boxes on a daily basis, its fantastic just to have around. When I move, I am definitely keeping this on my belt.

For the price I paid for this cutter, I couldn’t be happier — I LOVE it! I open anywhere from 100-200 boxes per day at work. I was so tired of putting my cutter down when needing my hands to stock merchandise, then turning around to open another box and forgetting where I’d laid my opener. NO MORE — problem solved! The cutter slides effortlessly into the holster, which I can attach to either my belt or anywhere on the front of my shirt, without it being in my way. This has also solved the problem of coworkers “borrowing” my cutters and not returning them (it’s hard to “borrow the cutter when you are wearing it)! The stretchy cord is extra convenient — you can do what you need to do without having to remove the entire holster to reach what you have to open — pull out your cutter, open your box, holster your cutter, DONE! The cutter goes effortlessly thru tape and cardboard of various thicknesses. This cutter has made my job at work (and tasks at home) so much faster and easier. As a woman with arthritis in her hands, this cutter has been a purchase I’m VERY happy I made. I got far more than I expected for such an inexpensive price.

This product is great for opening boxes and other shipping containers in multiple ways. Although this item ships with an extra blade, I suggest you buy extra blades immediately. They are an unusual size for me and require me to order them online. It would be nice if the cutter came with instructions. I had to train the many people how to effectively use the cutter. It is not clearly marked how to use the guide so that you don't puncture the contents of the carton. The depth selector and blade lock is difficult to explain to many people, one of my employees broke the handle because they didn't understand that there was a lock and they needed to unlock it for first use. I found that after moderate use the holster lost gripping ability. But, this item exceeded my expectations in many areas and I continue to use it even though others require training because of no instruction included.

I've work it everyday at work for 2 weeks now. A few things I've noticed. I clasp it on my pants pocket and the clamp is sturdy, haven't had issues with it falling off, but it can only go in right pocket due to how the clasp is applied. The box cutter stays in the sheath for the most part but it's not a snug fit, it wiggles around a good bit and occasionally I find it pulled out of sheath and hanging by my leg from me bending over or turning. The box cutter itself is solid, the blade depth setting dial works well and blades are easy to change. The pig tail bungie that holds cutter to sheath is a pain lol its flimsy and weak and it constantly wraps around the sheath opening every time I pull cutter out 🤷‍♂️. For the price though it's a good box cutter and I honestly would probably buy it again if I had to.

As someone who works with cardboard boxes, and plastics there is a lot of cutting going on at my job. This does the work and then some. The fact that it's tethered and is easily recovered is the highlight feature due to some who have lost theirs because they lack that ability. The blades are easily stored and super sharp. Quick access and trigger safety feature are a bonus. I've purchased this brand twice and it's my go to, and the only one I will recommend for the job.

Cutter came in a white box without instructions. Good thing a quick search turned up YouTube videos explaining the cutting guides (on either side of the business end) and depth setting guide (button at the butt end of the cutter).

I got this knife for my job and the knife works great I love they holster because I could never find my knife. I love how you can change the angle of the holster so if you drop something and bend down you can rotate the holster and have it not poke into you. My only issue is the blade is too short I will have it on setting 3 and its a little too short for me I feel like it would be better with one more inch of blade but other than that its amazing!!
