Absolutely! This bag has so many pockets and is so versatile. The main pocket is very deep and can easily hold multiple telescoping rods and a couple of reels too!

how big is the bottom pouch ? can you fit a collapsible fishing net in it ?

I'm not totally sure if a collapsible fishing net will fit however, you can buy a bag, place your net inside and see if it fits. If it does not fit and that is a deal breaker, send it back for a larger bag, fair enough?

Yes there is a pocket on the side for a carrying a rod. A collapsible rod would work very well.
