Only realised after years of having Tefal Original Actifry you could buy this basket accessory. I always found that if you put frozen food in, as soon as it went to thawed out stage, the paddle would break the food up before cooking crisp. This should come with the Actifry itself. Very pleased with this basket. Fits well, does the job. Would definitely recommend!

Works but a real pain to clean.

This is much better for doing small quantities of roast vegetables than the stirrer paddle. I saw it on the spares list when ordering another part for our old Tefal Actifry Original serie O01-1 air fryer so thought I'd give it a try.....so glad we did. Although we later found reference to it in the handbook that came with it, we did not have one in the package we bought. The roast potato and sweet potato chunks get less bashing about than with the paddle so browned flavoursome skins stay with the vegetables a lot better.

Very disapointed. Won't fit unless you remove the whole tray first, which isn't any good at all. Removing the paddle does nothing, to be clear, this basket will still not fit. Is there a compatible tray I could order, I wonder? I can't even be bothered sending this back...I hate it when venders aren't clear.

Like other reviews I thought I had checked and ordered the right one, mistake, but wasn't going to order the Tefal one, so I did make this fit with a little addition. Don't ask what but it was something food safe to join basket to base after removing paddle, but not removing centre as someone has said they had to do. It works that's all I want.

You can pretty much ignore the star rating on this review. Largely as a result of my own impatience - but partly as a result of the confusing product description - this item was not properly compatible with my Actify Genius+ 1.2kg (Series 041 - FZ773840). The SPARES2GO basket was available next day and was half the price of the Tefal part that would have taken a few days more to arrive. So I took a chance on this one. When I received it, it was obvious that the only way it would work with my machine was by taking out both the paddle and the pan and dropping the basket directly onto the paddle spindle. I wasn't totally happy about running it without the pan, but I did anyway. The basket held the food. It turned. It was stable. I reckoned I could live with it. Not ideal, but hey ho... WARNING: And now at last we get to the important part. When you run it without the pan there is a blooming big hole where the pan handle normally fits. Despite giving the food (chicken pakoras) extra time and boosting the temperature setting we could not get the food much above 50°C which is an unsafe temperature for chicken. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS. I suspect this failure to heat properly was a combination of the absence of the pan, the hole where the handle should have been, and perhaps the low positioning of the basket in the machine. If the food had heated adequately I would probably have made do with this less than ideal match, but now that there is a question mark re food safety I am about to return the SPARES2GO item and order the Tefal original. I am sure the basket is perfectly good when used with a properly compatible machine.

Es tut was es soll aber das war's auch schon. Verarbeitung ist unter aller Sau , scharfe Ecken und Kanten wo man hinschaut ich würde es zurück schicken aber da es nicht viele Alternativen gibt behalte ich es und spar mir den Ärger.
