Received just in time to brine my 20# turkey for Christmas and marinade my leg of ham for our New Year's celebration.

I ordered this thinking it was the whole set. However, when just a lid arrived, I went back and read the description and realized this was a lid only. It's a lid... Pretty pricey for a lid, I must confess.

Whenever I have a chicken in the brine or maybe a roast of some sort, I can stack stuff on top of this bucket in the refrigerator when this lid is on that bucket. I first started using the square buckets in the restaurant business and I have never found a reason not to continue using them.

I was amazed that the price was nice for the lids. but i was expecting the buckets to be equally nice priced in accordance.no wonder you have to hunt so hard to find them. they stick it to you on the price of the buckets at almost $57.00 apiece for the least expensive 22 quart bucket. and the original price of the lids "sold separately" , it takes a big bite out of your wallet.

Had to buy extra for 8 quart container. Should come with container!!!!

I am happy with my purchase. I had bought another cover, which did not fit this jar. A little pricey, but it's better to get what is made for the jar instead of a universal cover.

I bought the bucket for Sous Vide but wanted the lid in case I used it for something else later on.

Very deceptive product page. Only sells the Lid. Now I have a red lid that I need to match a container for.
