This should not be given to a small child under the age of 15, as it easily breaks.

Q: Should I get the 30 or 36 inch guitar for a 4 year old?

I would recommend the 30" for a 4-year-old unless they are a tall 4-year-old, and their arms are longer.

Q: Is this a right handed guitar?

It comes strung right handed. I am actually a left handed person so all you have to do is restring it the other way. It's pretty easy to string this guitar.
