From Skeptic to Fan
I had serious reservations about whether or not this was going to be a waste of money, but after reading a few reviews I decided to purchase it and I'm glad I did.I actually didn't read any of the instructions and figured out this thing in 5 minutes. Here's the most important thing you need to know about this item. After connecting via Bluetooth, you have to make sure that he volume on your phone or iPod is turned up otherwise you will get tons of static. However, if you do as I suggest, you will have fantastic sound quality. The sound quality is as good as when my iPhone is connected directly to my personal car via a dedicated iPhone connector.I haven't tried using the phone feature, so I can't adequately talk about that feature.I do love having a USB port to use for charging my phone.Overall, a great product and one worthy of your purchase.

Works good for streaming music, answering calls, not so much
First of all, it was very easy and straightforward to set up and get working to stream music from your phone. I primarily am using this to stream music from my iPhone to my car stereo which it does very well. It connects right away when I start the car, however the Chinese lady giving prompts in very broken English only reminds me daily that all of our electronics are being made in China. On the downside, I've never been able to pick up a call when I'm driving. I've tried every button on the device as well as my iPhone, but the loud ringing through my car speakers won't stop. What's really curious is that the ringing continues long after the person calling has hung up. The only way to make it stop is to unplug the transmitter from the car charger, and then plug it back in again. And yes, it's kind of annoying to go through these gyrations while driving. I really don't like picking up calls while driving, so this is not a really big deal for me, but it does momentarily disrupt my music.

sound quality is good, and it's loaded with several useful features
sound quality is good, and it's loaded with several useful features. however, I have 2 issues with the device: when my samsung galaxy s7 is charging while plugged into the USB port, it brings up a notification prompt on my phone saying it cannot connect to the media device because apple products aren't supported for media transfer, and when this happens, the audio is muted until the dialogue is closed. The second issue I have is that while the phone is charging, the device randomly restarts requiring it to reconnect the bluetooth to my phone. I've tested with my sister's iPhone 6 in her car, and it did the same thing, so I know it's the device malfunctioning. Overall, it's good as long as I don't have to charge a phone while using it.

Huh. I'm actually impressed.
I was not expecting this to work nearly as well as it does! The directions were good enough to complete a successful setup and for several weeks now I have been enjoying listening to music from my iPhone through my 1991 Toyota's speakers. The car doesn't have a tape or CD player, so only something that worked with an FM radio would do. And this does, brilliantly. Many thanks to all the people who rated it accurately enough to help me feel good about giving it a try because I really wanted this simple-style transmitter in my car. Sure, I could do without the recorded Bluetooth status announcement at *every* startup, but I'm in the habit of having the radio initially powered off so I usually don't even get to hear it. My phone mounts right by the lighter socket where the transmitter plugs in, so I use a Anker PowerLine+ Lightning Cable (1ft) Durable and Fast Charging Cable [Double Braided Nylon] for iPhone, iPad and More (Gray) for charging. I connect my phone to the transmitter wirelessly through Bluetooth but I also keep a TRIPP LITE P312-001-2RA 1-Feet 3.5mm Mini Stereo Audio Cable with Two Right Angle Plugs handy for my old iPod. It's your call if I gilded the lily by including a Tripp Lite Universal Reversible USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Adapter (Reversible A to Right Angle A M/F)(UR024-000-RA) but I like that it points the Lightning cable in the right direction for my setup. There's no way in a car as noisy as mine that I could use the hands-free calling and I doubt I'll ever use the card slots, but for my needs this looks and performs just fine.

Compact, efficient, and at a GREAT price
Great little device for anyone who doesn't have a modern radio that provides an AUX or Bluetooth connection! I recently went to Walmart for an FM transmitter and was surprised that these devices were still on the pricey side. The most affordable one I could find was no less than $30. So I went on Amazon and found this device and decided to give it a try. Its design is not bulky so it fits perfectly without taking away space or getting in the way. The connection is pretty good as well. Granted everyone's going to face some static, but if you set it to a blank station the static is considerably reduced. I also love how it comes with an AUX cord in case you dont want to use a Bluetooth connection. The USB slot for charging is CLUTCH. Saved me a few bucks instead going out and buying a separate device to charge my phone. And the Asian ladies voice is the cherry on top! I love when she tells me my Bluetooth device is ready to "payl" lol Overall, a good product at a great price. My only con would be that the instructions on how to set it up are a bit confusing, but I guess its because of the kind of poor translation to English. Other than that, would definitely recommend!
