Perfect for clematis and short rose climbers
I bought 4 of this trellis two years ago and have been very happy with it. The quality is solid and well-made — they are durable and have held up nicely through the seasons with no signs of rust or wear. I love the color and vertical display that really enhances my garden. They also look attractive in the garden even in Winter.

Quality design and materials
Quality design and materials. Took around 10 minutes to assemble. Will be a sturdy addition to my porch garden to hold up a vine. Looks great with a dark brown pot.

Strong. Beautiful. Nice Quality.
This trellis was great for a cherry tomato plant. We got nearly 100 cherry tomatoes from the one plant through the summer. The trellis was easy to put together. It is beautiful and kept the tomato plant supported and looking great all summer.

Nice but not 17" base
It's nice enough. Easy to put together. Sturdy and looks good. If you are looking for a trellis type that is 17" wide as this one states it is, keep looking. This is NOT 17", closer to 12"

I was very pleased with these. They are well made, quite sturdy and have a nice finish. (I had wanted black but the finish works well with brown or black.) The height can be adjusted by leaving out a section. They are tall and wide enough to support a good sized vine.

Good and sturdy, great size
Good size, sturdy, a little annoying to put together. I had to redo it a couple times you gotta do it in the right order, but it’s holding up very well so it’s worth the hassle.

Tick Tock
There is nothing deceptive about the description of this garden obelisk. Assembly was quick and easy, all parts were included, and the end result is as described. But: The hoops each have a stress point where the metal is joined to complete the circle. On each, the joint is slightly out of round, and I’m not sure how long it will be before they break. I am pleased with the appearance, particularly the color and style, but I don’t believe it will tolerate long term exposure to the elements.

A bit pricey but well-built.
These coated metal obelisks are sturdy, solid, and look nice when assembled. The screw head works with a Philip's. I feared I needed a special star screw bit, which I didn't have. I think ( but don't know) that the screw head was made to be universal to allow for various hand tools. But you can thread the nuts and bolts on by hand, and then tighten down (when fully assembled) with a screw driver. I'm in my late 70's and had no problem assembling these by myself. I've ordered 4 and will likely order more. My entire small backyard is a vertical garden. I trellis everything. These work in my big pots. I like that they are 6 feet tall--not quite tall enough for my Cherokee Purple tomatoes, but great for other plants. I'm trying for the first time to grow watermelon in a pot with this obelisk.
