An upgrade to what is already great! (SEE VIDEO POST)
It’s been almost 5 years since I bought my last RO system from APEC and it has performed admirably during its 5-year run. I was really satisfied with the taste of the water and the way the system is built, but the effort of replacing the filter still leaves a lot of rooms for improvement.I started researching on another RO system and one of Aquasure’s ad popped up on my Facebook feed. A twist styled RO system that suppose to provide great water filtration with easy install and maintenance. Their website also goes into great details on why the system is an upgrade to the standard reverse osmosis systems that are on the market today. The whole package was very well thought out and everything seems to have its purpose in this well-constructed system. I decided to pull the trigger once again and bid farewell with my old faithful system. The system arrived nicely packaged and organized with 3 inner boxes that separate the system, the tank, and the accessories. unlike the standard RO, these filters are built into the housing and are already pre-installed along with their leak-proof safety mechanism. All I really need to worry about is to connect the supply tubings to the existing connection. The whole process took me no more than 10 minutes since the connections are all 1/4" which is the same as my previous RO, the only thing that I decided to change is the tank and the feed water adapter as I feel that the new feed water adapter that comes with the Aquasure System is much better. One other thing I notice is the fittings have built-in o-rings so I don't need to fiddle with Teflon tapes and trying to guess how much of it I need to apply. The system still supplied a row of Teflon tape which was odd to me, but I guess some people will find a use of it depending on their setups. Although my install was very easy due to existing connections already made on the previous RO, I still can see how the new system's design is more superior than the old one even for those that did not have an old setup. After flushing the first tank of water which takes about an hour to fill up. I conducted a simple TDS test that results in about 94% of TDS rejection, which is comparable to the previous system. The water tastes just the same as well with a tiny bit of sweetness to the water.Overall, I really like how the Aquasure System is packaged and how easy it is to change the filters. I really like my old RO system as well, but don't really missed the effort it takes replacing the filters and making sure that everything is tightened properly. The new RO system will be a welcome relief when its time for replacing its filters in the future. For those of you that are looking to buy and install your own RO system, this one is definitely worth to consider.

Fantastic Water!
This is an excellent undersink RO system that makes fantastic water that almost everyone will love. If you don't like a very slight hint of sweetness in your water (think SmartWater), they also offer an alternate post filter for a flatter taste. Replacement filters and RO membrane are reasonably priced. The faucet that it comes with is very high quality, and much nicer that the one included with the Aquasana system that this is replacing.A couple things to keep in mind - make sure the pressure tank will fit under your sink, and through the opening to get there. My RO unit is mounted under a laundry room sink that does not have a full size base cabinet. The cabinet door opening was about a half inch too small to fit the pressure tank through. I had to modify the cabinet to make it work. Also, keep an eye out for leaks. My RO unit had one connection that was not fully pushed into the quick connect, which resulted in water spraying everywhere the first time I pressurized it. It's probably not a bad idea to pull all the red locking tabs to check all the connections for tightness before you install the system under your sink.

Great tasting water! Pretty easy install.
Great tasting water. Install was pretty easy although we did need to refer to the YouTube videos for some parts. Caution though it takes up a lot of under sink space (see pics of tank and filter mechanism). Make sure you read the directions carefully because I was getting murky water at first because I didn't read that I need to run the water for a whole tank cycle.

Very happy with the system
I've had the system running for two months now and very happy with the purchase. Took half an hour to install, lines were color coded, it was not difficult. We have strong tasting municipal water so my family has historically used a lot of bottled water and decided this might be a better option. Everyone likes the taste of the filtered water. We alternate between two iced tea jars in the fridge so we always have cold water on hand. We use insulated drink holders which keeps the water much colder than a plastic bottle and we all agree we drink more water now. Glad we made the move.

Easy to replace filters
I like that I will be able to replace these filters myself. I also like the feature that it will turn itself off if there is a leak. My last system was leaking slowly for months before I noticed and destroyed my cabinets!

Water Tasted Great!
Don’t have experience with other RO systems in the past, but this one is pretty straightforward. The water tasted great with a very small hint of sweetness and beats my fridge water filter hands down.

Really Good RO Option
I bought the Aquasure RO after buying a different RO over at Costco, which I quickly returned for leaks and being really noisy when the tank was refilling. No such problem with the Aquasure, it was easy to install, and is not noisy at all. I really like the compact filter set up, that has it's own base...I didn't even have to hang the thing on the side of the interior cabinet. This appears to be a quality system for sure,...I'm taking 1 star off for a tiny leak that was on the front side of the "Shok-Block" connector, which I think is there to protect the system if you have high water pressure problems...I tried reseating the quick connect hose that ran into the Shok-Block, but the tiny leak persisted...so I opted to remove the Shok-Blok (which is easy to do) and ran the inlet hose directly in the filter housing...problem solved. This is a small complaint, I'm really happy with the purchase.

In Canada. Got charged customs fees when shipped from US via Fedex.
Fedex also shipped to the wrong address, though somehow the shipping address got changed between Amazon and the Seller it seems. The product itself seems of good quality and works well. Water tastes great and the coffee maker is very happy with the pure water. Not looking forward to most likely getting shafted with custom fees for replacement filters. The quality of the faucet seems quite good. No issues at all with this product, just the extrta fees from customs and the foulup with the address.
