Thunderer Thunderer MT All-Terrain Radial Tire - 285/70R17 121Q

I mounted these tires on my wife's Jeep. One of the 4 took NO weights to balance and the other 3 took very little. She was pleased with the lack of road noise and handling. I've run this tread pattern in the past and it works well in all winter road conditions. One tire came on Friday, 2 came on Monday and the 4th came on Tuesday.

The tires look great . Small amount of road noise. But nothing to complain about there , they Seem to ride good no real dislike for the tires them self's. My only complaint is only 3 tires came in then I had to wait another 5 days or so for a replacement tire . But they did ship fast. So over all , I'm happy and will buy more when I need them .

Up front, tires are on 2005 Ram 3500 crew cab dually Cummins 6x6. I like the tires so far. Very quiet considering the aggressive tread. No idea on wear yet. Took relatively little weight to balance. They go down the road nicely considering the tread. Truck still hauls loads well. Grip good on dry, damp and snowy surfaces. Why 4 stars? Simply I got the wrong tire with the correct tag/sticker sent. ordered 285/70/17, received one 35/12.50.18 with the 285 tag on it.

I absolutely love these tires. Great tire for the price. They balanced without any issues. I gained a little over an inch in the overall height of the Jeep. There wasn't any noticeable road noise. I was kind of expecting more of a hum noise at high speeds but so far there isnt any road noise to try to drown out. These tires instantly transform my jeep to look more rugged than factory tires. Havent had them in the rain or off road so I cant rate them in that category, but judging from all the reviews I've read, they excel in off-road terrain, particularly mud. There was only a slight rub on the inside of the steering control bar but only at full wheel lock. Easy fix for that is a set of wheel spacers, which I plan to buy and have installed when it's time to rotate the tires. I would definitely buy these tires again.

My wrangler needed new shoes. Might sell it so I didn't spend a lot. I just got them installed, and wow what a difference compared to my previous expensive set. Better ride and quieter. I will definitely buys these tire for my next set.

After a couple hundred miles, I love these tires. They’re a little noisy, but hey they’re on a Jeep Wrangler w/ 3” lift who cares about noise? They seem like a great tire with minimum weights to balance. And you just can’t beat the price. update i have had them for a year now and I put 30,000 miles on them so far, with no issues. i do believe i will get another 10k out of them easy and I am not concerned about winter traveling at all. i might be able to get more miles from them had i not ran them in Yuma Az all summer.

Searched and everyone else charged shipping or were more expensive. Fast delivery right to my door. Now the bad. Bought a set of these tires yr or two ago. One separated so had to order new one. We will see how they do.
