Nothing beats a Stenson

I was attacked by dozens of young mosquitos. I went inside and donned the hat. Upon sitting back onto that patio, I was relieved from the onslaught for the next hour or more that I was there. What a blessed relief for me…. Great protection from mosquitoes, from head to toe. I live north of Lake Pontchartrain, and south of the horse farms (West Nile territory). The humidity and temperature were above 80, the hat not only protected me from mosquitoes, it did not cause any sweating at my brow or scalp.I will report that I wear a 7 3/8-5/8 hat size. This hat was loose.

Very disappointed. I had a similar Stetson that I used for golf for several years. After losing it, I bought this one. The brim is too floppy and weak to hold my golf magnet/marker clip up. The size also ran large and the hat is therefore too big. The hat ends up being too hot, clumsy and stuffy for golf. I’d return it if I could.

Nice hat. Keeps shape

The top of this hat is crooked. If you look at the holes for the ties it shows how much it's off. They are great hats, this is my second one, but this is weirdPerfect sun protection. Light weight a great hat for summer!

Like the lightweight but it doesn't keep it's shape. Only wore the hat once and the brim is distorted on one side which looks funky. It curls up on one side and will not stay level with the other side. Also the medium size seems to be a bit large and a small size isn't offered. I've had a similar hat from Dorfman Pacific Company for about 10 years and it's brim also curls up.

This is a nice hat, offers protection from the sun but air flow to the head. It is very light weight but maintains it's shape pretty well. The neck string is a nice thing to have for windy days, or if you want to take it off for a while.And best of all it was shipped in a box that was big enough. I bought another hat on Amazon in the past that was crushed in a box too small, no way to ship a hat. Oh yea, and the insect repellant works too!
