Works great on Linux Mint
Automatically detected by Linux Mint (or any Ubuntu derived flavor I would imagine). It's working great out of the box, and it's significantly less expensive than buying new drives just for long term storage of multiple terabytes of data.

Absolute nightmare - not a real HP serial number
Absolute nightmare. Product serial number is not recognized by HP as an HP product. All drivers and LTFS downloads from the HP website do not work and return page not found errors. Impossible to make work. Nothing more than a 13-lb. paperweight.

Fast, lots of storage, just what we need!
So much faster than our old LTO3 tape vault, and with all the storage one tape holds our full backup so we don't need a library anymore!
