A friend loaned me a very basic detector and I used it to entertain myself searching for “treasures”. He retrieved his detector so I bought this one. The best features are the ear speakers and the sound discriminator. I have been locating many old items from a long forgotten settlement on my property. I even invite guest to go treasure hunting with me and hand them the shovel when they agree. Oh yes, the hand held detector is an amazing add on. I have found many items that I would have otherwise dismissed because I can hone in on small items hidden in dirt clumps. This was a good buy.

I bought this for my husband as a gift, but our whole family loves it! It is easy to use and incredibly accurate. We have really enjoyed finding treasures in our yard.

Seems to be a pretty good entry level metal detector. I am still learning the specifics of operations. I have already found a few coins and other items and will continue to enjoy treasure hunting.

Product is poorly made and the parts don’t fit together well. The metal detecting aspect is ok.
