Crushed it
Dual bachelor's in Stats and Accounting. Aced this baby in about 20 min. My 4th grader was a little slower in finishing but he found it helpful as a supplement to his normal school work.

Decent Review Book, Not A Comprehensive 4th Grade Math book
I purchased this as a book of review worksheets for my daughter, who had 4th grade math last year. She inherited my minimal tolerance and appreciation for math, and I noticed heading into the start of this school year that she could use some extra support at home reviewing and practicing concepts, so this is one of two books I purchased for that before we move on to review supports for the stuff she's going over this year. This book has 59 actual worksheets, the remaining pages are answer keys. There is a brief overview of the concept being covered on the worksheets, and their are some color illustrations on many of the pages, mostly ocean related scenes, with a bat, penguin, and toucan thrown in for some bit of variety I guess. She said she liked the illustrations, that they were fun without being too distracting. My angel is about 40% through all of the work pages in it. She says that she finds the review explanation to be good enough for the most part. I did have to help her understand one of the exercises for regrouping on page 21, I do think the first section of that page could have had clearer instructions as to what they wanted the kiddos to do, but overall I also think that the explanations are good. I also think the challenge level isn't too high...which is good if you have a kiddo who's more intimidated by math then the dentist. It covers the necessary basics for the grade level, I don't mean to give the impression it does not. I would just say it's not going to challenge a kiddo who loves, lives, and breathes math to reach for the next level of thinking about the materials covered. What I personally think this book is best for is review or additional practice, it is not comprehensive enough for overall 4th grade math instruction, but I also don't think it was intended to be. So for us, it's doing what I needed it to and she dislikes it less then many other math supports I've purchased over the years...

Good- Depending on need. Better as a review of 3rd.
I bought this to help my daughter get exposure to next grade level concepts, however only about 15 of the 60 pages are things not covered in 3rd grade. And I was surprised by the lack of pre-algebra work. It's a great refresh of 3rd to reinforce concepts and we will use it as that. Also, it teaches the standard approach for multiplication with multi-digit numbers but does not include the other approaches taught in Core curriculum. So FYI if you are hoping for a summary of each way the kids are taught to approach problems.

Decent workbook for 3rd grade review, not 4th grade
For distance learning, I want to make sure my 3rd grade daughter doesn't forget what she learned from school. I got this book for her to keep up before her final test. Each page there are about 10 - 15 math work and problems. It took her about 1.5 week to finish the whole workbook. I wish there is more work on angles and geometry but most are focus on addiction, deduction, multiplication, few on division and the others. It is a good work book for 3rd grade, I wouldn't say it is for 4th grade

Great for supplement and review
Great book for 4th grade math. I am hally with this book. My daughter works out of a couple of workbooks which I find never has enough math in them and I just needed a supplement as I tired of printing out from the internet. This book provides the basics she needs. It's not huge but is it enough for us to be used as a supplement.
