Legrand 9 Inch In-Wall Enclosure for TVs and Media Devices - Dual Purpose Electrical and Storage Box, White, Recessed Mount

Anyone who has ever installed a Samsung Frame or any other similar design knows that you have to deal with the "One Connect" box, it's the power supply and input jack pack, it's also about 13" wide by about 4.5" by about 2.5" , so if you are lucky enough to to have an equipment cabinet below the tv, then great your install will be pretty easy, but most folks who spend the extra money for the "Frame" will not have anything below as it will detract from it aesthetically. In this case there was a high tech electric fireplace below so no chance of having any kind of furniture to hide the One connect box.So Plan B, mount the One Connect behind the frame in the wall, this box worked perfect. I was able to relocated the power outlet to one of two optional locations in the box, the wall was framed 16" on center so this box fit perfectly between the studs, the One Connect fit prefect inside the box with room for hdmi and power connections and still plenty of room to breath. the slit in the face plate was excellent to pass the control cable from the One Connect to the Frame and the slim fit (maybe 1/8" ) did not interfere with the Frame being flush with the wall, it was a clean install and the Frame hung as it was designed!Will definitely use on the next Frame install!!!

This is a good box for the price. It looks very good once it is installed. As others have mentioned there is very little tolerance for close stud spacing.The plastic is soft enough to make removing knockouts easy as well as any trimming needed to get things to fit. I installed it as new work and the flexible tabs that screw to the studs are nice and don’t skew the box if the studs are off a little. If you are comfortable doing some trimming or shimming on the studs you should do fine if they are off a little.

Told a customer, "Sure, I can do that" as a cabinet guy, even though I minored in electrics. This went in fairly easy. The place they wanted it had wires running on the insides of the studs on both side and was slightly smaller then the box itself but was able to make work. With the quality of the box, made it easy to mount, and functioned right, was probably just the wrong bay. Priced better then box store and the plastic was able to flex

This product is made from quality materials and in my opinion would function as described. It was purchased in preparation for the installation of a new TV/sound system. When the TV mounting bracket was installed this product was too large to fit between the bracket arms so I had to return it.

Worked well and easy to install. The price is okay, I figured it would pay roughly $30 for it, but this is the only thing I could find for $40 for the sizes. I put this in a wall with only 12 inches between each piece of wood and mounted it sideways and put screws through the plastic. Still worked really well and looks fantastic.

Used this for our Samsung Frame TV. We needed to install a box in the fireplace behind where the TV sits and it felt overwhelming to try to find the right box. We needed up buying two and ended up keeping this one out of the two. It's a good size that we can fit all the cords and device management that we need but not too bulky. Allows our Frame TV to sit completely flat against the wall. The plastic is sturdy enough, without being extreme.

I installed this box behind my 55” Samsung frame TV. Product fit great behind the tv need though this tv mounts very close to the wall. The box from the Frame tv fits great in there with all of the cords. I also mounted a metal reciprocal box with power outlet and everything fit great. Over all I am completely switch the fit and finish of this product. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The 17” Legrand - OnQ Cable Management, Structured Media Enclosure worked well for holding Samsung One Connect box, electric and hdmi/cat cables behind my tv. It was mostly easy to install and held everything with plenty of room to spare. I’m sure it would hold a streaming box as well as the One Connect if needed. I didn’t use the included mounting brackets, choosing instead to just screw into the wall studs through the screw hole tabs on the sides of the enclosure. I’m only giving it 3 stars because it’s way over priced for an empty plastic box with cable/electric cut outs and pop on face plates (which I also didn’t use). It doesn’t come with any accessories for mounting stuff inside or gaskets for the cable cutouts. Both can be purchased separately, but for $55 they should be included. I took off another star because the electric box cutout didn’t fit any metal or plastic electric boxes sold at either of the big box stores. I’m not an electrician, so I may be missing something, but I tried every metal single gang electric box sold at big orange and none lined up with the mounting holes on the media enclosure. I had to add small washers to the metal electric box wing mounts to get them to line up with the mounting holes on the cutout. That worked fine, but was a huge pita and wasted a ton of my time. So in summary, it’s a bare bones, overpriced plastic media enclosure with a non-standard, for me at least, electric cutout that does get the job done and now has a permanent place hidden behind my tv..
