Selma Fid Set

I've been splicing lines for years, but I thought I'd try this design to splice several 1/2" lines. While I never really had an issue with traditional fids, I have to say that these are easier to use. They're stainless steel with a beautiful smooth finish. The only negative is the price. When you look at what you're getting for your money, they seem overpriced. Then again, I'm sure these aren't being sold by the thousands every month.

This kit has most sizes of fits to work with all common size ropes. A little tricky to learn the steps to make the perfect eye but after a couple of attempts, I got it. Great quality stainless steel.

Very impressed with the quality of these fids.The instructions supplied with photos was also a great help.Only negative is that I believe they are over priced.
