It's NOT stain resistant or leak proof by any stretch of the imagination. I've bought 4 or 5 of these so I'd always have one fresh when someone came by. I also use it every day... it's just my husband and me and we use place mats. We don't even have grandchildren. It's NOT Stain Resistant. After the first time I washed it, it seemed as though it had more stains than when I put it in the washer. We had lobster, so I thought there was a lot of butter being splashed around. I put a new tablecloth on, and washed it after use (no lobsters this time). I pre-treated stains and it came out complete with stains. With the third new tablecloth, many stains after washing AND there were pulls in the fabric. It's very pretty and it really doesn't need ironing if you pull it out of the dryer in time, but I find I can't reuse it even after washing.

Looks good, fits well on my 60" x 72" table. I noticed some fraying on a couple seams after just the second wash, so I would not run this through the dryer at all. Looks very nice on the table, though it's a bit thin so a pad underneath would also be a good idea.

Hem failed after one washing. I followed the washing instructions from the label and there is a 12” length where the hem has come undone. I’m glad I have a sewing machine and know how to use it. Otherwise the tablecloth works as advertised. I haven’t even needed to wash it in the past 5 months!

Fantastic tablecloth. Looked so pretty on my dining room table. I just sold the table and gave away the tablecloth with it. The buyer was excited about the tablecloth and really liked it, too. It's sturdy enough fabric to be used as an everyday tablecloth and also looks elegant.

They are waterproof like they claim! I spilled some water on the table at thanksgiving and it all just sat on top of the cloth (which really impressed my guest!)! Another review said the navy is not navy, but I think they got the wrong one because mine looks EXACTLY like the photo (and I'm glad I took the gamble on that!). I love it and it is excellent quality! I highly recommend these!

I love the look and feel of this product but it is by no means water resistant or stain resistant! Just from it being on my table it is covered in dark grey stains (I have the light grey color) and I haven’t even spilled anything like wine or pasta sauce on it so I’m not sure what actually stained! After 3 months of use it is no longer usable because it looks dirty coming straight out of the wash even when I soak it in tide overnight :(

I bought the 12 napkins and the tablecloth and they are not stain resistant. Avoid buying them. I was so disppointed because I love the sage color. I know for a fact that Benson Mills have quality tablecloths and napkins.

This is NOT an ordinary plastic table cloth... It looks and feels like linen but amazingly, when I poured water on it, it did not soak in. It looked too nice for the outdoor use I had planned. It is now on my indoor table. Can't speak to stain resistance or wash-ability, as it just arrived. Kudos to the producers/distributors of this product. Impressive.

Works well and nice material that doesn't hold wrinkles. I also bought a felt liner for under this cloth as I was concerned with hot dishes and worked well. Nice product. Will order a second one shorter when I don't extend the table.

Wasn’t heavy as advertised. Came on time and looks pretty but too light.
