This system is ideal if you are looking to maximize the storage space in your closet. The system makes it quite simple to arrange shelves and hanging rods in a way that makes sense for your storage needs. There were a couple of small drawbacks I noticed after installing the same system in the 4' by 8' format. Overall I am satisfied with this item given its purpose and the price. Pros: - quick, easy set-up - "white" look is clean and simple - allows for efficient storage in a typical closet - was reasonable-priced at $52 compared to other similar closet systems and purchasing locations - system and components are quite sturdy once set up is complete. Cons: - there could have been more wall anchors included (you will run out if you don't screw into any studs) - can only customize the length of one closet rod and shelve (there are 3 pieces of closet rod and 3 pieces of shelve) This unit can also be split up to configure two very simple 3 foot closets. If you have two closets that are 3 feet long (or a bit longer) and are on a budget, this may be ideal for you.

I picked up my first one of these on clearance from a local Target store and it worked wonders for a masterbedroom closet. So much that, with a few left over useable pieces I targeted the other closet! But Target and other retailers in my area no longer carried it (why it was on clearance in the first place). Amazon to the rescue, and with Free Super Saver Shipping, even better! It shipped reasonably quickly (never be in too much of a hurry or else it can never ship fast enough for you), arrived in good shape, was even better priced than the clearanced item, and worked further wonders in two more closets. This system is custom configurable to however you want and need it. Have it your way (and it can't talk back and disagree with you). That makes it fun to install.

We bought two of these 3-6ft Rubbermaid closet organizers and love them. The previous owner of our house took their closet organizers with them so we needed something fast. This organizer provides us with a lot of extra storage space and is perfect for our 2-year-olds small clothes. His closet is just under 6 feet and we had plenty of room and configurations we could do with this kit. The neighboring room has a smaller closet, but still allowed us to have plenty of room to set up the organizer in a variety of settings. The kits have been installed for about 3 months and have been just great. Installation was easy (once we got a more powerful drill to drill into the studs). I think these will last a very long time and I love that they are adjustable. When our kids grow up we can move the shelves around to accomodate their clothes and other storage.

Whoever designed my closet clearly didn't think about space (probably was a man.) I have a unique challenge as my electric panel box is located on the right wall in my closet. I have about 1ft of space that cannot be used for that very reason, so organization was always a challenge with the standard wire shelving that was installed in the home when I purchased it. When the shelves previously installed ripped out of the wall due to poor installation, I decided it was time to find a diffrent solution and thats when I stumbled across these shelves. They work beautifully in my tiny closet space and were fairly easy to install and adapt to my needs. The only complaint I have is the screws it came with weren't long enough, so we ended up using what I refer to as mobile home screws which are much longer and really helped with the durability and strength.
