Love the convenience
These drops effectively reduce itching without the vasoconstriction or preservatives. Easy to keep in a pocket and keep on hand in the office or on a bike ride/hike. They are more expensive than the bottle with preservatives, but these are the answer if you're sensitive to preservatives and want to have something available on the go. I rarely use the entire vial and wish the cap was reusable. I've discovered that the natural tears version has a twist off top that is reusable. It fits the antihistamine vial enabling me to get two uses from each vial. I'm just careful to use the left-over within the same day and toss it otherwise.

The BEST EVER!
Where has this been all my life?! These drops are my holy grail — I will never use another allergy eye drop. First of all, they work IMMEDIATELY. They don’t burn like other drops. And I love that it comes packaged as individual doses — great to take on the go and no worries about cross contamination. My search for the best allergy eye drop is over! Fellow spring allergy sufferers, look no further. This is it.

The drops help a lot. Cannot reuse the eyedrops vials.
These are true single-use vials. The cap cannot be put back on. These eyedrops help me with itchiness and redness. They do not sting at all for me. I appreciate that they are preservative free so I know I’m not putting anything in my eye that I could react to.

works better than just eye drops alone
Didn't realize what I was missing by not using Alaway allergy relief. Some may benefit from the vial-type eyedrops (I did) but didn't realize I was missing the comfort I get from Alaway allergy relief. It just adds something more to my eye comfort. I recommend it

They're worth it
I agree with most of the reviews. All eyedrops are outragiously overpriced but these work for me and don't have side effects. If you also use Refresh Plus eye drops in the vials, their lids fit on Alaway. Also if you hold the lid and submerge the vial about halfway in warm water it softens and is easier to squeeze. Every drop is precious.

the only preservative antihistamine in the us... but why is it not available??
why are there absolutely no antihistamine eyedrops that are free from benzalkonium chloride which is a common allergen?? Why is this no longer available?? _------ I'm allergic to benzalkonium chloride which is in all antihistamine eye drops. Except this one. previously I ordered the zaditen version from NZ. I'm glad to get this faster and somewhat cheaper. But they are still pretty expensive for the tiny amount. And the containers are too hard to squeeze, I blew off the reviewers that mention this, but it's true. It's super hard to squeeze the drop out. And for the price there's no excuse. This company mostly has a monopoly on eye products so you get what you get. And after decades of having to import it, I guess finally they decided not to put a common allergen-benzalkonium chloride- in an antihistamine. so I guess I should be more grateful, but honest, it's not that much cheaper than importing them. Which is insane.

A far less irritating version of astringent eye drops
I live in Austin, where allergies are horrible for me and most other people. I used to use Systane Ultra a few times a week for dryness. My eye doctor suggested Ketotifen (in Bausch & Lomb Alaway and Systane Zaditor), Decent at warding off itchiness for a few hours, but very irritating. The preservative-free version is easier on the eyes.
