Arrived broken, twice.
Very disappointed - this item arrived broken, the ripple effect doesn't work due to the glass that is used to project the ripple motion being shattered into tiny pieces. This happened twice, once on the initial purchase and this replacement purchase.

Works Well
Had previously purchased one like this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P8T87FI it made a lot of noise and the wave action was not smooth. This design is much better. Much quieter and smoother.
