Amazon Basics Cotton and Rayon Derived from Bamboo Duvet Cover Set - King/Cal King, Dark Blue

This is a hard review to write because there are factors involved that may not be applicable to other customers because of the way I had to get the sheets ready for use. I do not own a washer or dryer so I have to use a commercial source for washing and drying the sheets and this affected the end use of these sheets. I try to buy sheets that are shrink resistant and that is a great limitation on selection. Sometime ago I took a chance on a queen Bamboo sheet set, at $140, and they shrunk so badly I could not get them to fit on the bed after laundering. But the size of these sheets seemed large enough to allow a 2% shrinkage but instead the flat sheet width shrunk 4% and the length shrunk 7% making it very hard to tuck it into the mattress at the bottom of the bed. Strange that the length shrunk more than the width. I have no issues with the quality (feel and weight) or color (dark blue) of the sheet material.Unless cotton blend or other non-microfiber sheets say they are preshrunk I will stay with microfiber sheets which do not shrink (and they normally indicate they are shrink resistant).SO, my rating of 3 stars may only apply to me but there may be others that need the warning.

When I opened the package and thought of all the reviews that talked about how soft these were, I was a little confused. They're not the slippery kind of sateen texture I'm used to, but are still very comfortable. I like that they feel sturdy and well made, as if they came from a time when things weren't quite as disposable as today.The quality is very high, and I can't even tell they're 25% bamboo. (Not sure what bamboo is supposed to feel like, but it has no adverse effects.) This sheet set is absolutely worth buying, and you'd assume they were far more expensive than they are.If you want that extra softness, toss them in the washer by themselves, add fabric softener and then use two dryer sheets in the dryer. That should relax the fibers and from then I think they'll just get even better over time.

The sheet set in and of itself is nice. The deep pockets on the fitted sheet easily fit a twin bed with an added 2 inch memory foam topper.My only issue is that the description says it comes with 2 pillow cases and mine only has one (which is actually what the picture shows but kind of needed the 2 that it said). I'm having a hard time navigating amazons site to figure out how to correct this. Not sure if this was an issue others had or not but just be aware.

So far this is my second set of these sheets. I'm an air hostess so I've become kind of a connoisseur of bed linens and I'm super picky. I can't tell you how many pair of sheets I've ordered and $$ spent, on sheets I've washed and washed again and still are scratchy and it doesn't matter the price, sheet count, material or weave. First this color is definitely a true blush, which is soooo hard to find, it isn't pink or tan, it's that somewhere in the middle=a true blush. It's very subtle, I also have the light grey and although they're a bit silvery looking, still a great weight and feel. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. Just take them out of the dryer asap (dry on low heat) because they will wrinkle. Sweet dreams!

Got the pale grey twin size sheet set. Exceeded my expectations in quality and thickness for the price ! Very soft. As long as you remove from the dryer soon after it’s finished then you shouldn’t have much wrinkles if at all. I don’t expect most materials to be wrinkle free if left sitting in the dryer all day so comparing to other sheets I’ve had, this is on the low end of wrinkling. Went through the washer/dryer well. Stitching and material seems sturdy. I don’t know if it’s stain resistant but overall quality seems great for the price. I’ll definitely get more.

This is a very nice duvet cover, well made, nice material, great value, and the color (grey) was as pictured. The reason for my overall "4" score is that I was hoping for more breathability (as described) and softer bamboo/rayon feel, however, its texture is like a soft cotton. I have not used with as a duvet cover per se, I am in a very hot climate and am basically using it as a cover or summer sheet. Using it that way, it definitely does not feel as cool as a bamboo cover. I like it a lot; I will use it; but it won't be my choice on the hottest nights.

Well-made, comfortable, heavy-weight sheets, good true color (Navy). Only giving 4 stars because:(a) Really heavy, like flannel sheets without the nubbies. Way heavier than ordinary cotton percale. Too heavy for summer IMO. I don't recall whether the product write-up mentioned this.(b) Queen size top sheet is several inches wider than normal, so you'd better have a box spring or it'll be dragging on the floor at the sides of the bed.(c) One corner seam of bottom sheet split during first washing (see attached photo).

This duvet is very soft and a light cotton feeling that pairs well with a down comforter.Very good value for the price. The lack of corner ties is frustrating. How much more would corner ties to secure the comforter?Good quality and inexpensive but not wrinkle free by a long shot. The wrinkles are minimized as it sits on the bed. But if you wash it and fold it for storage, expect to have wrinkles when you pull it out of the linen closet and place it on the bed.

Nice to sleep on. Wrinkle free.

These are pretty good. They’re very similar to the set I bought from Costco, just a touch less soft which is the downside for me but at half the price I’m keeping them for sure and I’m betting they’ll soften after washing a few more times.
