Uxcell AC 115/250V 20A CW4L2-20A-S Noise Suppressor Power EMI Filter

I use these AC line filters as a pre filter before my switching power supply when I’m redoing the wiring for arcade cabinets. They work great and are easy to use. The ground terminal is a little close to one of the AC terminals so just make sure you don’t have any stray wires. Other than that these work perfectly and I recommend purchasing them.

Connected to a CNC to reduce noise and it seems to work. Based on real world use I would buy this again. Before had some background noise that limited speed - just a little - but still this appears to solve a nagging issue.

Cleaned up the 120 volt input to my Arduino project. No more random resets and code lockups. The ground lug which must be grounded is very close to the hot power terminals. Beware of shorting out the unit. Will buy again for future Arduino projects.

This works great. Had a lot of RFI from an inverter generator interfering with my radio equipment. This fixed it. It does need to be grounded to work effectively though.

This AC filter lowered the radiated noise from the power cord running to my meanwell 48V power supply to below what I could detect on my radios. Prior to filtering it was raising the noise floor by over 5dB. Fits fine in an electrical junction box for in-line use without exposed mains voltage.

Only criticism would be the earth (case) ground is fairly close to the power terminals.

I installed this unit to clean up erroneous EMI from a variable frequency drive unit. The EMI impeded a hall sensor. Together with the addition of a pair of toroidal ferrite cores, the EMI was eliminated.

This thing is amazing. If you’re having any noise issues on a CNC machine, or any machine for that matter. Slap this bad boy on the input AC line and watch as your issues go away. Before adding this my dust collector, PC and connection to the Cnc machine were always dropping in and out. After adding this every issue went away. And it’s so easy to install. Can’t recommend this enough!

Prodotto ottimo anche se made in china. Ci ho costruito una ciabatta a cui collegare il mio impianto hi fi e fa bene il suo lavoro. Forse un po' caro, ma almeno è arrivato in tempi ragionevoli.
