Seiko Men's SNK621K Automatic Stainless Steel Watch

The watch is quite beautiful and it is easy to set up and run. It keeps good time and is very accurate. Overall a good buy and would recommend it to anyone !

I bought this watch to replace a Seiko kinetic on which the band broke, but had worked flawlessly for about 20 years. This replacement watch, after about 6 months, has had three instances in the last month where it loses 30-45 minutes over about a 4 hour time frame. I called Seiko customer service, and was told "unless you're doing 200 jumping jacks, the capacitor is not going to stay charged." I am fairly active through the day, and certainly don't feel I should need to do 200 jumping jacks just to keep it operational and reliable. Also, the watch runs overnight for ten hour stretches without any kinetic input and keeps excellent time. Although I have been a long time fan of Seiko, the response from customer service was condescending and lackluster at best, and not what I would expect from what should be a world class company. I am going to give the watch another chance, specifically paying attention to my movement levels, but if it slows again, I am done with this watch and will replace it with another brand.

Very nice watch. Display/dial is easy to read. Day & date clear (I didnt see another model that showed day and date in separate windows - makes it easy to read). Also, the numbers light up in the dark because they are coated, I understand. I read somewhere that self-winding watches slow down if not worn for > 8 or 10 hours. So far, I havent see it (I have had this watch now for about 10 days.) One little bump I ran into was that the first jeweler I went to didnt know how to take some of the links out of the wrist strap - and they actually sell Seiko watches. The second jeweler did, but it took 2 trips to that jeweler before it was a good fit. [Why dont they design the straps so we can adjust it at home with eye-glass screw-drivers?] Also, the instructions come in a small fold-out page; no manual. On account of the above two points: the 4-star rating, not "5". On the plus side: the watch came in a elegant (leather-covered?) box. Very nice. The supplier (K.G. Company) packed this item very well and it was delivered on time. However, note that if you get free shipping from them, if you have to return it, you pay to ship it back + a $10 restocking fee. All said and done, a very nice watch at a very reasonable price and a good buying experience. Would definitely recommend.

Day, date uniq watch with great price!

I wear this watch all day and am a normally active person. Unfortunately, as a few months have past, I now need to reset the watch every morning because it stops running overnight. I wear it from early morning till I go to bed. That should be enough so that I shouldn’t have to reset it every morning. Ultimately, since the return window is closed, it can’t be returned.

Has only 50 m water resistance. So you cannot go swimming with it. Excellent sunburst dial. Elegant, reliable daily watch for office or business casual use.

Inexpensive, but refined, and it shows the quality. Seiko 5 movement is well praised, so it is a must-have for those who like watches. Having seen this, I will not buy another "fashion watch", which likely have China Seagull movement (state developed). Came to me in perfect condition, and it's authentic.
