Thank you for the question. Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control is not safe for use in an oven, nor has it been tested for food safety and therefore would not be recommended for direct or indirect contact with food.

Q: how long dose it take to set up after gluing to pieces together?

Thank you for the question. After applying one drop of adhesive per square inch of surface, press surfaces together immediately and hold for 15-30 seconds. Leave the parts undisturbed for at least 5 minutes. For best results, allow full bond strength to develop over 12 to 24 hours.

Q: does anyone know what the viscosity of this gel is?

Not sure if you are looking for an actual chemist answer but, to simplify, it is fairly thick. Meaning, it will not run off when put on something but, it will also NOT make the item being glued, thicker
