Some have suggested user error as the culprit for warping of the plancha, saying putting the lid on the grill while cooking was the obvious mistake Not true in my case.Warped after one use, which comes with the host of problems already documented in other reviews.Do not recommend. Use your money for something else.

I’d give it a 3.5. The design should include a lip around the edge to prevent grease from spilling out. I got up to 600+ and didn’t see any warping but definitely had a lot of grease running down the sides of the grill. I’m still pretty happy with it - I’ll just use less grease and check it with a level to ensure grease is flowing to the trap.

Couldn't be more dissapointed.....for over $100 (that's with tax included) here are a couple things I didn't like about it.1. Unlevel ground at all=grease runs off sides and down into kettle since there are no sides.2. The grease tray slides are a good idea but most the time there is no grease because it's already ran off the edge and also, when u lift the griddle plate up its hard to handle that and trying to not spill what has collected in the grease pans or just moving them out of the way to sit the whole thing down somewhere is a pain in the....3. Just put the$100 I just saved you towards a blackstone and be done with it.

I seasoned this griddle top and cooked bacon for the first cook. The griddle top had an audible "pop" in the middle of using it and it warped. This caused all the bacon grease to fall down into the grill. This proceeded to cause a grease fire and ruined breakfast.Like the other reviews, save you 100 dollars and get an actual blackstone.

It's a fantastic concept. However, I wish it could sit up higher and avoid the sides of the grill.Despite being sunk down It's a fun new addition!

I got it seasoned and used it a couple of times. I was willing to overlook the lack of an outer lip because the grease trap seemed like a great idea.After I turned the heat up above 500 degrees it started to tilt, by 600 it had an obvious warp to the point grease was running toward the middle of the grill. I let it cool down and it flatten back out. I used it again and at 500 the warp was back again.I really like the idea but this isn't the one for me apparently.

Don’t waste your money it warps. What’s the point if it won’t stop wobbling on the grill lol
