If you like Beauty & the Beast erotica, but set in modern Italy, you'll like this scorcher!
Overall, I lapped this book up and went on to buy the other two and watch the Netflix movies (which are beautifully made and scorching hot!) I do think this book got off to a bit of a rough start so I was slow to get into it. The writing was a little underdeveloped and shallow at first as the author was building the world and introducing the characters, but after the first few chapters, I feel like the writer hit her stride and found a good rhythm. So if you're feeling the same way, just stick to it. I really enjoyed the banter and bickering between the main characters and of course, it was spicy like I likey!I'm also a fan of how she showed Massimo's weaknesses and vulnerabilities when, to everyone else he was supposed to be all brooding strength and killer decisive, to her, he was a puddle she could splash in. That Laura made him go a little crazy, literally, was fun to read, how she tested him so much, and how much he pretended to not enjoy it. I applauded that story element, I like to think I would have done that too just to piss him off.And yes, people complain about the Stockholm Syndrome-eque story line, but let's be real, either you came here for a hot, dark romantic saga, or it's not your thing, which is fine. So don't clutch your pearls when (spoiler alert!) Laura learns to love the man she's been forced to see when he opens up to her and she gives an inch to him. While on the surface it's a Beauty & the Beast sort of set up, she's got her own dark emotional/commitment issues too, so they're evenly matched in their shared dysfunctions, but also nuclear level passion.I hope she writes more books in the future!

Love and Danger Entwined
"365 Days" by Blanka Lipinska is a provocative and captivating exploration of love forged in the heart of captivity. Laura Biel's life takes an unexpected turn on her birthday, leading her into the enigmatic world of Massimo Torricelli, a criminal mastermind whose dark charm is impossible to resist. I found myself drawn into their tumultuous relationship, as Laura wrestles with the complexity of developing feelings for her captor, raising questions about consent and desire. Lipinska's vivid imagery brings the Sicilian backdrop to life, adding to the tension and allure of the narrative. This book is a whirlwind of emotions, combining romance and suspense in an intense dance that kept me turning pages late into the night. While the themes can be controversial, the story is undeniably gripping and will provoke thought long after the last chapter. Recommended for readers who enjoy dark romance with a twist of danger!

A Hawt Read
I have been wanting to read this book since I saw the movie last summer and I was not disappointed. Don Massimo Torricelli has been looking for Laura Biel for 5 years he first saw her when he was shot. Laura and her boyfriend Martin take a dream vacation to Sicily when he sees her at the airport he knows he must have her. This was a really good read. Massimo who is a mob boss kidnaps her after she gets into with Martin he also threatens her and her family he also shows her pictures of Martin having sex with a girl in a club. I liked Laura she wasn't the soft submissive women that he was use to she agrees to give him the 365 days that he asked for. Massimo is a hot sexy alpha male who is use to getting what he wants. The movie had some hot sexy scenes in it and the book was better too me. When these two begin having sex it was hot as hell. Laura is not use to men deciding things for her she rebels and gets in trouble like poll dancing in the club and the man losing his hand for touching her. I did think that Laura drank too much especially with a heart condition. I liked that Massimo could be tender with her. I also liked the secondary charcters like his brother who looks after Laura and her bestfriend Olga. This was a good read that I listened to and read. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series and I hope that the author doesn't make us wait to long for the English version of the next book.

Oh the drama...with a too stupid to live heroine.
It's not bad but not that great. It's so over the top with drama it feels like a soap opera. Sexy and utterly unbelievable. A good guilty pleasure read but I don't find it compelling enough to buy the other two books to find out what happens next. I could not stand Laura, period. She's the modern too stupid to live heroine. Nothing she does makes any sense and her very description of herself is a total walking contradiction. Excessive drinking, fainting, reckless driving to no where. Her head is completely in the clouds. Massimo is bad, bad, bad and not entirely in a good way. Hot yes, a total bastard yes, more than a little unhinged. These two deserve each other . The writing was utterly confusing, the author uses first person for both characters in the same chapter, every single time. That alone drove me crazy. All in all a fun read for a rainy afternoon.

First one is fantastic.
I love the first book and most of the second. But then I feel like the writer got off track. She changed the characters drastically.
