Is this cover thicker than a bed sheet?

Yes but not too much. It’s a really soft material but somewhat thin. We had a blue comforter we put this over and you can’t see any of the blue through the white.

Is this material soft? I have bought the duvet cover of microfiber before, but it feels rough. Can anyone tell me, thank you very much!

Does pet hair cling to this or wash off easily in the wash?

I have a plethora of animals . . dogs and cats. I haven't had a issue with it collecting more fur/hair than any other one I own. Actually, I really haven't noticed much fur/hair on it and it's been 2 weeks now. I own the soft pink in King size so it would show.
