A lovely design and clever drinking spout makes for the perfect mug for travelling about. I was a little disappointed the first time I used it when my coffee came out like warm after a couple of hours but I think this has a lot to do with the amount of cold milk added when I made it. I think the best thing would be to add hot milk to the coffee when you make it to keep the heat up. Did a little test to compare with an older version and surprisingly after 2 hours there were only 2 degrees difference between the two models.

Does not keep things hot!!Tea is cold after an hour and a half! And I don’t ever take the lid off or open it in this time. Cold every time! Waste of money.Unfortunately I was having health issues so didn’t get to test it until a month after I’d bought it so can’t even return in! :(

Having owned and daily used two other Contigo thermal/Travel cups, I liked the look of this “LUX” version and decided to upgrade one of my old ones.It looks brilliant, smaller capacity than the one it is replacing, (but I knew that when purchasing) the instructions still claim “5hours kept hot”. However because the lid is full metal stainless, apposed to it’s replacements plastic lid, it acts as a heat sink, draws all the heat from the contents and therefore 2-3 hrs max the contents is kept hot.Apart from that minor issue, a great travel cup just as my other Contigo’s are.

Yes it is a little pricey but what a fantastic travel mug, totally leakproof and keeps drink hot for literally hours I was actually quite pleasantly surprised. Would recommend without hesitation and would buy again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Works well but due to the design some liquid stays in the drink/mouth area after use and if you put it in a bag it will get onto your things. The amount of liquid is small but it’s a significant design flaw. Although, the mug is sturdy and keeps things warm
