Great tweeters!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!
I rebuilt a set of infinity SM- 150s /-used 1- Pyle 300 watt(rms) 4 ohm 15" red cone woofer-(2 -Goodwood 5 .25" gm/65-4 -4 ohm 100 w rms- sealed midrange s and 1 -gt-324 8 ohm 100 watt rms-tweeters per cabinet running the mids and the tweeters using the factory L pads ( infinity) for a total of 600 watts music in and I have to say these tweeters are much better than the infinity 3/4" poly cell high output dome tweeters that the gt-324s replaced. I am powering these using a Pyle P3301bat. Hybrid pre amplifier( also powering 2 -12" 4 ohm Boss, subs (wired to 8 ohms. in )-(350 watt rms each 3- way cabinet) using a velodyne 4 ohm stable sub woofer plate amp. With these tweeters you can hear the rain drops in a black sabbath tunes. Love em . Only needed some slight dremel work on the cabinet to fit the speaker terminals in the 3" mounting hole all ready in the cabinet so it was a 1 5 minute job on each cabinet. Goodwood ( also dayton, same company) make great speakers at the lowest prices . I would have used Goodwood gwpc-15-4 -4 ohm woofers if I could have gotten them for the same price as the pyles, as the red cone woofers have a lower frequency response than the Goodwood You can't go wrong with these tweeters if you want crisp, clear, seperate+ defined highs for an affordable price. 5 star

Looks and sounds like a legit replacement
I have a vintage pair of circa 1991 Cerwin Vega L9 floor standing speakers. One of the original tweeters finally bit the dust and I had to make a decision. Torn between replacing the entire speaker set or repairing with replacement parts until I ran across these Goldwood Sound tweeters. Considering the cost and good reviews I decided to go the repair route. I'm really pleased with that decision. These tweeters appear to be well made. I had to modify my cabinets because the original tweeters made it hard to find drop in replacements ( needed 2" cutout / 3" mounting circle). The new GS tweeters sound really good. They aren't shrill, but produce just the right amount of high frequency response to round out the SQ of my old Cerwin Vega cabinets. The GS GT-324 tweeters really delivered in all aspects and I'm happy with the purchase. Hopefully they will last me as long as the original parts did.

De los 2 parlantes que pedi uno llegó dañado. Instalé el bueno y comparé el sonido con otro parlante y la calidad del sonido no es muy buena. Le falta claridad y fedelidad en el sonido.

1 of 2 damaged. Sound wasn't great. Get the GT-525's, not these
Comes in a set of 2. One worked and the other one had a terminal snapped off in the small box rendering it useless. I did try the functional one since one my Cerwin Vega tweeters was blown. The frequency response is way too wide for my tastes. It was tinny and staticy. It might be okay for you if you like a real wide frequency response. To me, it's not needed. These handle a fair amount of power, but I'm using a Crown external amp which outputs 300w pure power per channel hence me popping a tweeter... These probably would have been okay for the amp although they are rated much lower than that. I ended up returning these and swapping them for a set of these.... Goldwood Sound Inc. Sound Module, Silk Dome Tweeters 200 Watt each 8ohm Replacement 2 Tweeter Pack (GT-525-2)....and I will be keeping them. The GT-525 model sounds much better to me and has less of a frequency response with a higher wattage rating... To me, they sound better than the factory tweeters of the Cerwin Vega SL-12 speakers. The SL-12 tweeters were lame to begin with, but the GT-525 complimented the mid-range and woofers perfectly. I didn't have to modify the cabinet very much at all.... So, don't get the GT-524...they might come damaged and don't have great sound.... Get the GT-525. You'll be pleasantly surprised at great they sound, especially at their pricepoint.

The diameter of this tweeter is 3 7/8”. Not 3.63 as described.
Diameter measurement is wrong. This speaker is 3 and 7/8”. Not 3.63”.

Ambalaj iyi, paketleme rezalet...

I bought a pair of these to replace a burned out tweeter on my Rogers LS6. Original bought new in 1986 from Whyteleafe Stereo shop in Surrey. But definitely crisp, fine and bright. What else do you want from a tweeter! To be really fussy, I could say they are a little bit peaky. Just a tiny bit. I've had to turn down the treble slightly. Or is it that the originals had been run in over 40 years use? Or is it that now I'm 40 years on, it's my ears and tinnitus that can't handle the pure tone that the lovely little tweeters deliver? These tweeters are fantastic and have given my old LS6 a whole new lease of life. Overall. . . Highly recommended. They're really lovely.
