I purchased these to use as a treat favor my my child's high school graduation. We put M&M's in them and the added a tag that said: Here's to a a bright future The kids/adults who got them thought they were cute and I was satisfied with my purchase. They did arrive with both silver and gold tops that screwed on to the bulb after they were filled. I would purchase these again!!This bulb takes a lot of M&M's to fill it up! I think it was about 2/3 of a cup PER bulb. I special ordered M&M's to fit with college colors with diplomas, graduation caps, and the graduation year.

These lightbulb containers are as neat as they sound. With a lid that either pops up for easy liquid pouring or a lid that completely pops out to fill bulb with small candies or decorations. The box also came with gold covers in case that’s the color scheme you would prefer over silver. I’ll be using these for favors at a party. Economical and adorable this is a BRIGHT idea for any party.

I ordered these bulbs to give as participation gifts for my Energy Efficiency class at work. They arrived earlier than expected and they are just as advertised. A pleasant surprise is that they come with gold tops which can be used in lieu of the silver ones. There's also a plastic insert with a snap at the top of bulb once you unscrew the top. This allows for adding powder, like spices, to the bulb, without spillage. Overall, I am very pleased with this item.

Since the cap is a twist off & a small opening, I intended to fill each one with M&M’s, or Hot Tamales, or Hot Cocoa mix. Given as a little appreciation gift to some I know.
