Not what it should be!
This product had more stems and leaves in it than actual green beans.

What happened to the beans???
The first time I ordered one the beans looked like fresh cut beans on the label. They were great in soups! The 2nd time it looked like finely chopped green weeds. Amazon very kindly sent me a 3rd order. It’s so completely disappointing!! It still looks like dark green Tiny pieces of weeds!!Now I’m Leary of ordering anything from this company. What happened to a good thing?

Good but different than freeze dried.
First time to cook dried green beans. Soaking in hot water and set until mostly absorbed speeds up the cooking they need, about 10-15 min. They dont really swell up like the freeze dried but were good with some seasoning a a bit of dried onions. Like that they are non-gmo and no salt. Husband said they were fine.

great to have on hand
Whether you're making a stew, soup, chili, a stir fry or even spaghetti sauce, it's easy to add some "extras" to the dish. They are easy to store, take and are always on hand when you decide at the last minute that you would like to ad something. I have their green beans, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, sweet potatoes, chives and jalapeno peppers. I have garlic, zucchini, diced potatoes and tomato dices on my wish list.

Dired grasshoppers
The other edition of "Mother Earth Green Beans" product is the one to go to, for taste, everything. This one looks like dried grasshoppers; it reconstitutes like the old-fashioned, canned green beans of the 50's - which might be ok for a casserole - if you add plenty of cream mushroom soup & onions. The other better one you can eat out of the jar like candy - very tasty - be careful which one you order.

Great if it was dried herbs for cooking but not ...
I thought this was a snack food and wanting to start keeping healthy snacks around, of course I bought it. It is a jar of dust and crumbs and pieces. Great if it was dried herbs for cooking but not so good for munching. It is re-hydrateable but who wants to eat baby food green beans? Great company and very understanding so I am going to buy their dried pineapple and try it.

LOOKS LIKE I BOUGHT STEMS AND LEAVES WITH A FEW GREEN BEANS
Looks like a jar of green trash. Expiration date is in 2023. Fool me once. Never again will I buy their products.

Freeze dried green beans
I was very disappointed. What I got was more like minced green beans and green bean dust. I have bought a lot of Mother Earth products and most of them we have really liked. But I won't be buying their green beans again.
