Glad iShoot came out with this solution for the two bulky Canon RF 600mm and 800mm lenses. Well designed and built, it fits perfectly and becomes and integral part of the lens offering great stability when connected to a tripod or monopod.. The native Arca Swiss plate at the base is a great solution for a quick utilization on tripod heads, the recommended solution.

Would have been nice if Canon included a tripod base to the long lens, but I guess times are tough for everyone. The product does the job, but there is no way to tilt for portrait shots unless mounted to a ball head. Good product over all and provided a simple solution to Canon's stinginess.

Looks like nicely built, mounts without issues and seems secure enough.2 drawbacks:- it’s quite heavy- center of mass is way behind the mounting point/foot so the whole setup will be really back heavy when on tripod

The fact that it is in a fixed position and can’t be rotated makes it’s usefulness limited!

Fits my new Canon RF 800mm perfectly! Even though the lens is pretty light and hand-holding is very “do-able,” being a senior citizen wildlife photographer, I still use a tripod most of the time. This iShoot Tripod Mount is just what I needed. Highly recommended!

It’s a great foot. Fingers can grasp the curled end but there is no way to reverse the foot so that it points back to the camera. I needed this so that I can add another plate below it to balance it on a gimbal.
