I’m finding the reaction time a little slow, and the tamper setting is too sensitive

Ich bewerte hier das Gerät für den von mir geplanten Einsatz, nämlich Einbindung ins Smarthome über ein Gateway (Homey); die geplante Funktion : Alarm (dafür ist es ausreichend laut) und Singnalgeber, zum Beispiel Wecker, dafür ist es zu laut, und eine EINFACHE Veränderung der Lautstärke habe ich nicht gefunden; es soll über kryptische Befehlsfolgen (RWA-Kommandos) aber möglich sein; ansteuerbar in dieser Konstellation waren auch nur etwa 1/3 der möglichen Töne. Als ich dann nach der Kopplung den Gerätestandort wechseln wollte, gin der Alarm los, warum, weiß ich nicht, das Manual lies sich dazu nicht aus, und erst recht nicht zu der Frage, wie dies denn zu beheben sei, sodass ich das Teil erstmal in eine Decke verpacken musste. Die Beschreibung (engl., im Netz) erscheint mir insgesamt nicht hilfreich. Sollte der Grund des Alarms der Verlust der Z-Wave-Verbindung gewesen sein, was ich nur raten kann, wäre das sehr erstaunlich, weil 1 m neben dem neuen Standort ein anderes Z-Wave-Gerät klaglos seinen Dienst tut. Gerät zurückgesandt.

Came with an EU plug, so you have to use an adapter. Also, be sure the system you want to connect it to is listed in the compatibility list as not all Z-Wave system are. It doesn't work with my Alarm.com system and they have no plans to include it despite not having any alternative product in their ecosystem. I took a chance on it but ended up buying an expensive brick.UPDATE: Although not officially supported by Alarm.com, it now works with basic functionality. It’s enough to work for what I needed it for; to chime when someone presses my SkyBell.Upgraded my rating to 4/5 stars.

I installed developer's script so I have some control over volume, choice of alarm sounds through smartthings but it is still not fully compatible. always offline

I bought this to use as a siren with Samsung Smartthings as it says it uses ZWave protocol however Smartthings hub detect this as a switch hence no ability to use it as a siren.However, if you are technical enough to install a custom device handler in Smartthings, it will work with your ST hub. It's not a plug and play device and requires some patience before you can use it with full potential. I was that close to giving up.Now since it's connected to ST, it does have some cool functions and the siren is loud enough to wake you up from deep sleep on the first floor, plus it has 30 sounds to choose from, which is also a great feature. Another great feature is up to four hours backup on the battery if electricity is out.It comes with the EU mains plug so that's a drawback
