Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021|Standard|1 Device|Windows/Mac|Disc

Having used PS Elements 5 for around 10 years or more at a fairly basic level for adjusting exposure errors, etc. when taking photos I decided that as I bought a more advanced camera this year I should upgrade my post processing software too. All the YouTube, phoyi magazines and other photographers always seem to talk about using Photoshop or Lightroom but the idea of a monthly fee for using Photoshop or Lightroom does not appeal to me as I am not a daily user, only occasional or monthly one. So when I saw Elements 21 as a one time purchase I thought that would be a better option as it includes many functions in the full version of Photoshop. It it vastly superior to my version 5 but does have one downside for me - all the functions text characters are a lot smaller meaning that I have problems reading the details on my laptop even with my spectacles. As there is so much more that can be done with this version I have purchased the Photoshop Elements 2020 for Dummies book to help me learn all the newer features. I feel certain that I will be as pleased with this version as I was with the older one.

Bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 on CD, arrived next day. Packaged exactly as described on Amazon. This was not an update installation, but a clean first time installation of Elements. I installed the Windows version, but the macOS version is also in the box. Two options pop up - Photoshop Elements or a trial of Adobe Premier Elements. First thing that requires you attention after installing the CD, is signing in to the Adobe site. I have already used the site so I had a password. The installation took 35 minutes. I then entered the SN code. Before the newly installed software opened, two updates were found. A Photoshop Elements update and a RAW file camera selection update. These took 11 minutes to install. That was everything completed, and I did not encounter any problems. Software easy to use and I think its terrific value.

My old computer crashed beyond repair and with it, my Photoshop. No matter how ancient it was, it served me well. Now, with a new computer, I have Photoshop Elements. It seems to be an all dancing, all singing affair. I'm trying to get my head around it but it's difficult. I really need a "Photoshop Elements for Dummies" guide that spells out in simple terms the step by step actions that need to be taken. I guess I'll try and fine an experienced user to lead me through the complexities.

I have avoided making comments on this product until I had used it. Test of time has given me a fair judgment.I originally purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 - 27 years ago. It proved invaluable in business and in a personal application when I was able to execute photos for my work in Estate Agency and do wonder personalize collages for friends and family occasions, thus keeping a photographic memory with, names, dates, and presentations trimmings.Windows fazed out and unsupported my beloved Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 some 18 months ago, when I felt I had no alternative but to purchase the new 'Adobe Elements 2021' if I wanted to carry on with my now, hobby of personalizing family and friends' photos.I personally, find it cumbersome to use and understand, it isn't user-friendly, it's over-indulged with too many options when the only way you could possibly understand it would be to 're-trained' or schooled as it appears to be taught in colleges these days.There was no training necessary 27 years ago. It was effective and in my opinion, a great product. Now it has, in my opinion, moved over to commercial enterprise bringing a price tag with it.

My previous version for some reason had really slowed down and I failed to rectify that after many attempts- clearly it was not my computer. The photo merging also failed to work and crashed the program. This upgrade solved the problems and has a few nice features. It is very similar to my older version which suits me as I have got used to it. I'm hoping all this remains true. However, I do find it expensive for just upgrading.
