The Sims 2 Pets Expansion Pack - PC

As I sit typing this, I decided to take a break from normal life because I could not stand to type another sentence in my essay without letting everyone know about this awesomeness expansion pack. *Fast forward into reality.* I work overtime, multiple hours of listening to people on the phone talk about how bad my company is treating them (despite the amount of thousands of credit the company has given without contract.) In normal life, it's boring and over discussed a lot. Football is watched, school work needs to get done and sitting on my butt all day not do anything sounds a lot more fun. You see, I am a big amazon shopper and I tend to need to take a break because for I know it my whole paycheck when multiple new items that I did not need, especially when I am a bit drunk, but their are so many good deals! The Sims 2 pets, allows me to take a break from candy crush and family guy games and focus on a world where I can make my life more exciting. Even with pets I have new responsibilities in that world that tell me that at some point I should of probably fed our dieing beta fish a lot more while my daughter has been gone going to school. All in all, when you have those two hours before this weird word pops up called sleep, it's nice to play a game where I don't have an option to spend real money in without going and logging into their website and added my credit card and trying to find something that's worth buying. The Sims keeps me out of trouble with shopping habits and makes me realize that I should focus on other things and helps remind me that I have stuff to do in the morning. All in all, it can also be a good life lesson tool. If your little girl doesn't seem to understand what it is like to pay bills and demands everything that's worth so much more money, have her play the sims and boy will she stop complaining about the fact that she doesn't get that new Sailor Moon Wand that's 100 dollars or a laptop. She'd understand that by watching the repo guy come in and take the pet food dish and couch while your broke, means that your bills haven't been paid. The Sims has brought a lot of entertainment and joy into our world as a family.On to a more serious note, Pets allows you to create your own pets out of pure boredom as well as introduces werewolves to your sims life. It also presents more jobs available and more collective gear towards pets as well as new aspirations. I like playing family sims and they tend to create easier aspirations to reach at some point. Enjoy the new platform and goals and remember, it can teach you life lessons such as not being lazy and feeding your beta fish... Works well with older platforms of windows xp. I have a windows 7 dell and it doesn't cause any problems.

I love it, the pets are fun sweet and beautiful thank you. I bought The Sims 2 and the Expansion Packs. What you do need to know is that The Sims 2 and Expansion Packs all will work on the Windows 10 Pro an on 64 bits PC. If you upgrade on your Graphic Card. If you have an Intel like me you will need a Intel GMA X 4500 or better, if your PC ASUS or a Del ATI Radeon 8500 Or greater or a NIVDIA Geforce 6600. You will need to upgrade your Memory Chips for these Graphic Cards. You will need a duel- Core processor. Don't forget to use the SEASONS 2 EXPANSION PACK CD for your dvd driver. This expansion pack was a great add on for the Sims 2. If you are still playing the Sims 2 these days this would be a great addition to your collection. It allows you to have many different animals each with their own needs and personalities. You can't go wrong with purchasing this. I did see the review about running this on Windows 10 and unless you have experience tinkering with Windows this likely will not work for you. It would run best on a machine running Windows 7 or XP.

I'm a huge Sims 2 fan and this is without a doubt my favorite Expansion pack. I'm an animal lover and that alone makes me attracted to this game. You can choose through a large varity of pet breeds, when it comes to dogs it can go from Golden Retriever, Husky, Whippet, Beagle, Pug, Poodle, Pit bull, Saint bernard, Jack russel terrier, Collie, German shepherd, etc. With cats there's Maine Coon, Tabby, Tuxedo, Persian, etc. You can train your pets to get jobs in Showbiz, Service or Security. If the game doesn't have the breed you want, you can create it. Like the Bernese Mountain dog or the Gray Tabby.Sims can bond with pets until they are the dog's Master or the cat's "Mine". Also you can pamper your pets with cat trees, fancy dog beds and dog houses. And yes you can breed pets. You get the tiniest cutest kittens or puppies. A sim family can have up to six pets in their house.They also can have parrots and guinea pigs. Its a GREAT game and a must have for Sim players...it requires a great deal of memory to play right to having a good loaded memory amount in your computer is needed.

I ordered the pets along with double deluxe and they work beautifully with each other. I've had both games 5 years ago and after a theft I thought I should get them again! Some people think the pets expansion pack is a waste of time and money.. Depends who you are. If you're like me and can't get a pet in real life, why not get one in game? The dog can have a litter of puppies (cats as well) and they're all really cute and worth it for a single companion for your sim.

Title kind of says it all. Only came with disc #2. Missing disc #1. Returning.

The disc worked great and was in great condition but the codes didnt work. I looked it up online and found one that worked on a forum. lucky me!
