nice colour, exactly as described in the photo.. slight downside is that it doesn't last that long but its not hard topping up lipstick!

I can't find this color in the stores anymore, not even the cosmetics-only store. This color, Goldpearl Plum, is a mid-deep pearly mauve, with a tiny bit of brown that may actually just appear as brown because of the gold in the pearl. When I was younger, I had a mid-deep mauve lipstick that inspired compliments when I wore it. As I have aged, that shade would not work for me anymore, even if I could remember the name! But this color makes me look finished, but not clownish. It is a good color for my very fair skin with pink/blue undertones. It doesn't last as long as I would like, and it's not super moisturizing, but it's not dry and chalky, either. Probably if I did the layer-and-tissue application method, it would last longer, but I'm getting lazy in my old age. ;-) I'd recommend this, but I am afraid that other folks will buy it all up, and I won't be able to get it anywhere!
