I'm going to come back and add pictures, but I have this on the side of our faux-leather couch because the cat frequently jumps and hangs from there. So far, none of the edges have peeled up and all of it is sticking exactly the same as when I first put it on. The dots for extra adhesion help a lot. You can see where our cat has nicked up the protector, which is great because otherwise it would've been our couch! Especially with leather or faux leather, it's nice to have something where he can't ruin it. I've had visitors say they didn't even notice it until they were up close or I pointed it out, so it's not gaudy or anything either. I like it! The sheets are really big too and you can cut them to fit wherever you need. Just be sure to line up one end and make sure it's straight because once you start sticking it on, it adheres pretty quickly.

They stopped kitty immediately! They aren’t very obvious on. I took some off after a year thinking kitty had learned. I don’t think there was any residue on the fabric, but there may be if I was able to leave the plastic off, had to replace them because of kitty. I don’t know if dirt would have stuck more easily if the plastic would have been left off. Regardless, since we have a cat, the couch is in better condition than it would be without them! Also, they come with some funny stickers that make you appreciate the extra effort the company goes to to make a quality product and also deliver some levity.

I bought this for the arms of my recliner, which has rounded instead of straight edges. The protector is thick so there is not a lot of give. Due to that reason, I could not get it to lay flat. The adhesive backing is quite strong so I suggest using a hair dryer to heat it a bit for easy removal without leaving sticky residue.

My cat prefers vertical scratching and despite having 5000 scratchers, toys and interactive climbers he still goes for the tops of cabinets and carpets. Solved the carpet problem by ripping it all out and putting down wood, only to discover he will tear up wood just the same if it's in the right place. As you can see from my photos, there's scratch damage UNDER the guards.It's basically super thick packing tape. Like super duper thick, old phone screen protector type thick. It's semi rigid so it doesn't stick to itself, but that does mean it doesn't really conform to funny carved surfaces terribly well. I can imagine a few places this wouldn't stick.The entire kit has some cute stickers for humans, a cute "human gift" and 4 sheets of protectors. There's also securement stickers for extra adhesive, a test patch big enough to be it's own protector and large, well printed instructions on the package. I was able to use 1 protector to do 4 cabinets in my older summer lake home. My cat has scratched at them twice and they have not come off, he's a big long haired mix with some ferocious claws, so it's durable. It's August 8 and I'll come back in September to update if they have remained stuck or not. The instructions to remove suggest a hair dryer, which did work well with the provided "test patch" which is big enough to be another protector quite frankly. I am mildly concerned about the heat and humidity of my area affecting the adhesive, only time will tell.These came in less than 48 hours which is unusual even for Amazon in my area- rural Florida.Very easy to apply, cut and press. Or peel press and cut. I'm sure if you're more precise and have a scalpel you could cut these to fit pretty much anywhere, very precisely.Update 1: August 30- just made it through the hurricaine. Lost power for a bit and it got hot and humid inside, the protectors did not budge. My cat has tried to scratch a few times and frankly appears to have given up and gone back to his scratchers. My baby also likes to sleep under the bathroom sink in the cabinet, he was messing up the door trying to get it open to hide or sleep. So far that piece of protector has held up to about 500 cat scratches/door openings. I do not clip my cats nails he won't allow that, he's got razor blades. Still pretty impressed with this stuff.

I found the adhesive on these to be underwhelming, especially for the price. The plastic material doesn’t adhere well to corners, and overall, the stickiness is underwhelming without the use of pins. Other brands include more sheets for a similar cost and I imagine are the same product, different brand name. I expected more given the price point. I won’t be repurchasing this one. I'd recommend exploring other options that offer better value and stronger adhesion.

Doesn't stick. As soon as my cats started scratching, it came off. Restuck all pieces and they all came right back off. Not a good product

This works like a charm. The first time I applied it, I did not bend the corners before applying as stated and it came off. Once bent , it sticks great. Another option to help it stick is cut two pieces to make a corner. Do not wrap around without creasing it and expect it to stick. Also the look doesnt bother me at all since its clear. Thank you for saving my furniture from those little claws!!

Love this item, I have purchased it a few times to put on different furniture because I have three cats and they love to claw on everything this is really durable it doesn't come off also very easy to put on.
