My cat seems to prefer these cardboard scratchers to the other fibre scratching posts. I think he prefers them as he can shred them apart more easily and generally cause them more damage which seems to be his aim in life ! But he does like it to also to sit on and sleep on.... these as they might be a bit more pricey but there are actually three cardboard fillers so once the first one has been shredded you can turn move them over and you have 5 more surfaces for Mr Pussycat to destroy... Will last him a while anyways !

This is the first time trying Milly,my three year old British Blue cat with this product. She took an instant liking to it and within minutes,was using it to scratch her claws(instead of using my furniture!) and then having a follow up nap on it! Previously,she would choose the furniture over her scratching posts but no more! It’s a well designed product,with three,double sided layers of scratch board,that can be flipped over when worn down. It’s like buying six boards in one! As it’s contained in its own sturdy box,any catnip used doesn’t end up on the floor beneath. Milly’s breed is known for its ‘wide’ shape and this accommodates her size well! I am genuinely impressed with this product. At last,I can relax and stop worrying about the imminent destruction of my sofa!

My Ragdoll cat's previous folding scratcher is no longer available and is now quite worn on all 4 sides. It's lasted well for 9 months but is now shedding bits of cardbord quite badly. I decided to get this particular box scratcher as it is the right size and has 6 useable sides in a sturdy box. My Raggy loves it and she uses it every day for scratching as well as sleeping on it. Highly recommended.

My cat loves this scratch mat. A lot of the time she just sits on it looking out of the window or she’ll fall asleep on it sphinx style. As a scratch mat she loves it too, though it is a little small despite my cat being fairly petite. I should’ve bought a larger one but she’s happy and that’s what counts!

My cat loves this! I’ve spent so much money buying cat beds for him and he won’t go near them. However, stick a box on the floor and he is in it- so this is perfect, as he sits in it and scratches away happily for hours!!!!
