the best head lamp i have brought worth the money

It’s not so much as a concentrated beam over200 metres, but it is a super bright lamp even before you hit boost, Terrific flood beam. And you can adjust the flood and spot beam independently, to suit your needs. Been on two fishing trips with mostly flood beam being used, constantly. For 4hrs. And a 5hr stint, and no problem. Plenty of reserve to take me back along the mile or so beach , on full power. Well pleased…

Excellent light for dog walking at night on the farm. Good light range, both flood and distance. Battery lasts well.

I have a few ledlenser products and they all impress me, the seven-year warranty being the deal-breaker for me. The ledlenser products are very good at the task they're designed for and being rechargeable easy to rely on. I charge these whilst driving so my daily (night time) dog walks are stress-free when walking through the woods or countryside. The Ledlenser 502124 Head Torch is light enough to wear despite having a rear battery pack, and it doesn't get that warm when using for long periods that you need to remove it either (I've endured this on cheap torches previously). The option of using either the flood or spot, or both combined is great as I can flood the area I'm walking through and still see my dogs as they tend to run in front at some distance. Both led are independantly dimmable too. What I wasn't pleased with about this head torch is that on the front lamp housing (thet rests against your forehead) the rubber cushion is that small, you find the plastic rubbing against your skin. There is a cut-out in the plastic at the front and this can nip a bit which isn't very comfortable and started to get on my nerves after a while. Wearing this with a winter hat removes the discomfort, but it's a shame I have to use an alternative headtorch when working (I don't wear a hat) considering this was a substantial price. Amazing bit of kit. And got it on offer which was nice

The output from this head torch is superb. I bought it for running technical trails in winter as well as using it as a front headlamp for cycling. The output is like switching on the sun but battery drain is quite rapid and it takes a bit of getting used to running with it because of the weight but this is only a minor comment. What could easily be made much better is the padding on the head band. They have used a very hard / dense plastic instead of adding soft foam like on other Ledlenser head torches. It is this more than anything that makes it slightly uncomfortable to wear and really lets an otherwise great torch down.

Bought the Led Lenser H19R for hiking and walking. The headtorch is solid and the main beam works well, but the magnets are too weak to firmly hold the charge lead in place, so it can easily be knocked off. The functional buttons take a bit of a learning curve to use properly. The red light barely illuminates your feet, which was disappointing as that was my main reason for buying it. If I cannot find the genuine LED Lenser red filters, I’ll either buy OEM or make my own. Overall it’s still a very well-built and so far eliable torch, but these minor issues keep it at 3 stars for me. It is comfortable to wear for an hour or so then you need to take a break from it. Head strap sizing is well proportioned for in the adjusters and going back to the charging capabilities, you must keep an eye on this as the lead is too easy to become displaced. If 1 to 4 of the green lights are not visible: It is not charging. This is a base model being sold on Amazon hence the low and better than 1/2 price offer. You do not get the additional mounting kits for helmet, bike etc., and you have to buy those separately. No mounting kits and the not bright enough red light is why I have only given it 3*. It is still exceptional value for your money though.

This light is brilliant. It's bright and in all the right ways the combination of flood and spot gives a good even coverage. I use this for dog walks and it seems to last about 3 walks between charges. It's fantastic. The magnetic charger has on occasion knocked loose, but overall is a better solution of usb ports that always seem to break on other makes.
