Colton's Naturals Lizard Repellent 32 OZ Reptile Deterrent Outdoor or Indoor 100% Natural Spray

I have been looking for something to rid my house of Gecko's for literally 50 years (!) living in Hawaii, and have tried EVERYTHING to no avail I think gecko's must be the most persistent, resilient creatures on earth, and FINALLY the solution has come in the form of this wonderful product, COLTON'S. The odor is very pleasant and dissipates in minutes. and not a gecko in sight! ( Have no idea where they went and I don't care!) This is my second bottle as I want to always have it on hand. Can't recommend it enough. It's a miracle!!!

I usually do not leave negative reviews. I usually just chalk it up to a one-off unlucky experience. But this product was so ineffective that I thought it was only fair to share my experience to possibly save others from wasting $30. I used the entire bottle around our pool area in Southwest Florida, where we see quite a few geckos, anoles, and other small lizards. I sprayed the areas under and around our patio furniture where they like to hang out and along all door frames twice a day according to the product instructions. It took about five days to go through the entire bottle, and throughout that time, the anoles would come out and watch me as I was spraying as if to say “that’s all you got?” In short, this product did not deter the critters one bit. We still have as many we did before using the spray, and I can’t afford to spend another $30--a lot of money--for the possibility of better results over a longer period of time. But I highly doubt this spray would work no matter how long I used it. I had high hopes for this product, but it did not work at all for me.

Colton's Lizard Repellent spray is AMAZING!. I'd give it 10 Stars if I could! I live in Southwest Florida where we have as many geckos as we do people. We've had several geckos that insisted on hanging out around our front door. The geckos were not the issue. It was their poop! Geckos poop a lot!. I mean A LOT! We'd clean it up every day and the next morning there would be more! I'd wash the walls and ceiling every week hoping to wash away whatever was attracting them. Nothing worked. Until I used Colton's Lizard Repellent! It worked in one night! It's been a week and no more geckos or gecko poop! There is a faint cinnamon and peppermint smell that lasts for a few minutes after we spray. And the spray doesn't stain the walls. We've only used about 2 ounces of the spray, but that's all that was needed. The geckos are GONE!

Little brown geckos and big ugly green ones really took up residence in my lanai storage closet, using it as their personal toilet. I mostly ignored them. But then I got a work from home job and my desk faces my lanai. So I'd sit there and see them all partying all day, pooping on my stuff. Huge scary green ones all shamelessly crawling in and out of my closet like a porta potty at a beer festival. I couldn't take it anymore. After extensive research and trying some other diy solutions, I decided to give this a try despite the less than impressive average rating. Fact is, no lizard repellant has a great score. This product definitely works, but theyre not kidding about how diligently you have to use it at first. I would totally hose my lanai down with this stuff twice a day. For several days, it didn't seem to do much. I almost thought it was attracting them. The lizards were downright brazen about it! I took more than a week, and I used almost the entire bottle before they really started to pack up and move. But it really did truly work. Its expensive and it took a LOT to get them to move. But now that theyre gone, I only have to do a light misting every few days to keep them at bay.

It works for a day but after a day they are back and its too expensive to just keep them away for a day

Follow the instructions it does work! I used this product and was prepared not to buy it again, thinking that it did not work. That was before the owner reached out to me and asked how the spray was working. I gave him my honest opinion that it didn’t work & I couldn’t afford to buy another bottle to see if it would. His recommendation was for me to try it again. That I had probably used too much the first few days. Which was probably because I used the entire bottle in 3 days - I wanted the lizzards gone! The next offer the owner made was to send me a free bottle to use and follow the instructions. I was amazed! First, for the offer to send me a bottle and second, they stood behind their product as effective. I had tried EVERYTHING, so why not give this another try. Too shortened this story, the owner sent the bottle, I used it - following the instructions this time! After 4 days, I saw good results! The bigger lizzards are gone and I only see little ones. I still have some spray left this time to continue to use and think the little ones will leave soon. I like that the spray is not harmful. And I’ve already ordered another bottle for maintenance. Now I can sit outside on my front porch and not be freaked by lizzards running around and playing in the bushes. The smell is strong, but pleasant. I’m glad the owner was persistent & that I was because the lizzards are. If you are a praying person do that too. I’m thankful for this product!

So far it works very well! I have treated both an inside area and outside the front door, the lizards have not returned. I have been using it for over a week, no lizards. It smells pleasant. Didn't think I would find something that really worked, but it does!

And I haven’t even used it yet. This just came to the door. First thing I noticed was the smell. It smells fantastic! Next, it’s all natural. I didn’t know that because my husband did the research and ordered it for me, but I really like that. There is something about the way they wrote their “must read instructions” that makes me want to follow it to the letter. And I will. I can’t wait to watch this stuff work. I’m actually excited about setting an alarm in my phone and making sure I spray twice a day for as long as necessary. Why not? It smells great and I’m really tired of sweeping up and scrubbing gecko poop off my lanai! I’m not sure I know how to write a follow up review, but I’ll try to figure it out to post an update after I’ve actually seen the results. I don’t know what else these guys sell, but I’m going to look and see if there is anything else I can buy just to support them and hopefully participate in making them super successful. Not sure what it is about them. I just feel really good about this product and the guys who sell it. Go figure. Update: 10/4/24. I have emailed this company four different times with a very simple question and have still not been given the courtesy of a response. The product works, but the customer service is non-existent and many times when I receive this (I have a subscription - huge gecko problem where I live) the sprayer on the bottle is broken, so poor packaging. I don't feel good about these guys anymore at all. If they have any more products, I won't buy them out of spite now. And if I can, I'll find a different solution as well. Bad customer service is a pet peeve of mine.
