Not sure what the problem is with previous review needing 3 hands? Actually one hand will do it since it's a push button lock, you just slide the lock on, then push in the button. You only need the key to UNLOCK it. This is really nice, the only problem I ran into is having to take the o-ring off in order to take the sleeve off to use the 1/2" fit for a 1 1/4" hitch. After sliding the locking pin through the 1/2" hole I put the o-ring back on and slide on the lock (using the push button). You don't have to mess with the o-ring if using the 5/8" sleeve. This is a really nice lock, adaptable, just hope is resists the rust, I will buy some extra 0-rings though since I'm using the 1/2" lock. Thanks.

This lock works great so far. The one thing I will watch to make sure of is the rubber protective cap over the lock doesn't dry out and/or crack. This piece is great for keeping dirt out of the lock.

Needed a lock for my Weathertech bumpstep, that looked descreet. Not bright silver, as others. Very clean & sleek & great quality Piece of mind, to be locked up, not stolen.

Can be a little annoying to take off sometimes, but still 100% worth the money. Good design and I like the cover on the end that keeps things outve the lock. Would buy again

A really slick looking lock in black chrome! Fits perfectly on my 2" hitch. Takes both hands to unlock it, but a really nice piece of towing gear. Good, solid seal over the locking mechanism.

Heavy duty and easy to lock and unlock. It has a nice coating on it and is quite thick. I try to review all items honestly to help buyers.

Downgrading to 1 star. I lost my key, so I had to cut the lock off. With a cutoff wheel it took about 5 seconds. Not sure this is even worth bothering with. To my surprise, this didn't fit my 2nd gen (2014) Toyota Tacoma with factory towing package. The hitch receiver was a little too wide for the lock. I tried on several other trucks, with much heavier duty Class V weight distributing hitches, and they fit fine. I guess the Tacoma hitch is just wider than most. Strange. After grinding down the pin a little, it fits fine. But you really shouldn't have to do that.
