I add a tablespoon or two of freeze-dried onions to my water when cooking ramen and then add the noodles when the water is boiling. The onions add color, taste, and texture. Quick and easy!

This product had a decent flavor, but I think I will stick to fresh, but this product is pretty good for soup.

These dried shallots are quite good, but overall the price is a bit high.

I absolutely love this it doesn't give me any gas from eating it and putting it in my mashed potatoes my mother was so happy she can finally eat onions and peppers without getting that harsh gas and belching from eating thank you so much for making this product

Product was well packaged and a good value. Pieces were rather large, but understandable if using for soups, stir fry or stews. They did not work well with baked potatoes or scrambled eggs or omelets, the taste was very strong in those uses which may be due to the whites of the green onions included in the container. Over all, if used as an adder to soups and stews the product would be appropriate if fresh was not available.

Perfect topping to my beef fried rice!
