When I received my package the heating element was in perfect condition but the prongs that insert into the plug on the stove top were bent extremely far. I had to bend them back into place to get them to fit. Yes that wasn’t great.. but it was a fair price for an actual GE product and works like normal.

my burner and pot were ON FIRE. ordered replacement burner coil , with the sensor thing in the middle. and new drip pans. Perfect!! for the ones coming in bent, order something else too, like drip pans, and it comes in a box. I am so pleased, no new stove or repairman.

This is an EXACT replacement item for our GE stove. Works great. Will buy more if needed, somewhat disappointed that the original failed, but "oh, well...".

This a a genuine GE replacement part which is great. Amazon warehouse shipped this sensitive electronic component with temperature sensor in an *unpadded mailer* instead of bubble wrap and box! It arrived damaged. Amazon doesn't replace, only refund for this. Customer service rep told me they/I can't request a box shipment, but reported problem to warehouse. I re-ordered this part with and put special delivery instructions in all caps *DO NOT DELIVER IF THIS IS NOT IN A BOX - RETURN TO WAREHOUSE*. It came in an unpadded mailer *again*. No delivery instructions visible. The part was in the GE parts bag but it had been opened already (was this item returned already?). It didn't work, stone cold. Tried my good burner element in the same socket and it was fine. Tried my old burner that I was replacing because it no longer got red hot and *it* worked. They sent another dud! Not getting this from Amazon and my respect for them has gone down a notch! Don't even bother to get one of these from them!
