I have used three darning feet for free motion quilting. The Singer foot broke in two weeks. The second didn't work smoothly. This one works perfectly. I have used it for two months and it's like new.

The media could not be loaded. Since there is no video on the installation of this presser foot, I decided to make one. Very simple to attach and does the job. Remember when installing to raise your presser foot to the highest position so the rod rest on top of screw to keep the needle in place.

When I purchased this item I was not sure if it will work. But, it really surprised me that it was so easy to attach to the machine, I dropped the feed dog on my 293B and I was on my way to do free motion quilting. The price was very reasonable and I am happy with the quality of this product.

The first one I got lasted 2 years, which is amazing considering how much I use it. When the wire lifter broke, I bought a second. This one had some manufacturing flaw that made the spring stick in contraction, but the return process was as painless as could be (though the UPS driver stepped right over the package to stick the label on my door instead of taking the package *tantrum noises*). The replacement is working great. Overall an extremely good deal.

There is a piece of heavy wire that extends out to the side. It prevented the presser foot from lowering completely, but once I managed to cut off the wire, it works well on my Singer 233.

This foot fit perfectly on my Singer machine and works beautifully so far. It’s easy to see the stitching since the foot is larger than my other free motion foot that I have for my heavier machine. Hopefully it will continue to work without a problem. Great value too.
