So nice I bought it twice - one for me and later, one for my BFF. I've received compliments on my glowing skin - a huge compliment because I used to suffer from pilaris keratosis and tried lotions, scrubs and creams to exfoliate but nothing worked to reduce it to near gone as well as this simple mitt did via "manual exfoliation". My skin now glows. The first few times I was shocked (and grossed out) by the tiny skin rolls that come off when using this but with results like this, I've learned to love knowing I'm removing dead skin cells. The glowing, smooth skin left being totally makes these worth every expensive penny. I first lather with a soft soapy pouf all over to wash away lotions, dirt and perfume oils. Then, I turn off the water, and while still standing in the shower dripping wet, I dampen the cloth and begin scrubbing lightly side to side, then I scrub up and down, working my way from my ankles to my neck/jawline slowly. It used to take me 20-30 minutes but with repeated use, I'm down to 10-15 minutes, tops and very little debris at the end. I don't scrub hard enough to leaves marks, but vigorously enough to leave me tingling. I do rinse the cloth often, because it can look gross with all the little grey dead skin you just exfoliated on the surface. Then I rinse thoroughly and if it was an especially humid day, I will rewash with a soapy poof very gently because my skin is tender and very lightly pink-sensitive because I probably removed a lot of yucky sweaty dead skin cells. I hand wash the mitt after each use and hang to completely air dry. No more slathering on lotions to make my skin look moist, smooth and very supple. I purchased the foot cloth and love it as well and just ordered the milder face cloth because I found this way too rough for my skin above my jawline. Ok, pandemic has passed and I am purchasing another one because my new puppy ate it along with hubby’s slippers - it was in great shape until that. My skin remains soft and KP free 3 years later (with regular use). Even the once slightly darker skin around my elbows is now of the same even tone as the rest of my arm. Three years of committed use at least once a week and I still think it’s worth every penny spent. Silky soft skin that you aren’t embarrassed to have touched extensively by your loved one is worth it. Absolutely. Worth. It.

Update: it’s been about nine years since my first mitt and I’ve kept up their use. My skin remains smoother and more refined looking (smaller pores and smoother skin). It’s still dry, but doesn’t crack and itch like it used to. I still use the mittens and back scrubber regularly and so does my husband. His skin is in much better shape (not as dry or bumpy in texture) than it was when he was younger. Have tried others and this one still works the best! Over the years I've tried tons of creams, potions, lotions, and even other exfoliating mits to get rid of my dry skin on my body and the pores that seem to grow larger with every birthday. Nothing had any noticeable effect on the pores except to make my poor nose red and irritated and even more noticeable. And while there are excellent lotions out there (I love Gold Bond's Diabetic skin care version-rich, creamy, not greasy and lasts without breaking the bank), I got tired of always having to swim in it when I bathed- especially in summer. So I ran across this Baiden mit. Several years ago. Thought it was ridiculously expensive but the reviews were excellent so I figured all the creams and stuff I had bought were even pricer so why not? I haven't regretted it one minute!! This is my fifth purchase. These mits last a couple of years if you can keep family members from nabbing them. And they work! My skin took a few washings to really adjust and start changing for the best but after the first scrub, it was so much smoother that I loved it for that alone. The pores on my nose are no longer the size you can drive a car into, they have returned to a reasonably small size and remain relatively clear (I travel a great deal for work and often am under a good bit of stress - both environmental and otherwise so it's hard on my skin!). And my dry flaky skin has pretty much been relieved. I still use lotion on occasion but it doesn't have to be every single time I get near water! Did I mention I'm old and I travel in dry airplanes? Not sure even a Baiden mits can completely fix that! But it has made it so I rarely have to wear it in the summer and don't have to trowel it on in winter. Anyway, I can't recommend this mit enough. It may be an initial investment but I quit spending money on all sorts of sometimes very expensive things to combat large pores. And my lotion consumption has dramatically decreased. So for me - in the long run - I actually save money. Not to mention I have results I really love and my husband appreciates the soft smooth skin too. He liked it so much I've had to get a couple for him over the years and I appreciate his smoother skin.

I held off on writing a review for this product because I couldn't get it to work. After reading the other reviews and watching the instructional videos, I realized that you do actually have to follow the instructions. It doesn't work for me with only a shower. But when I soak in the tub with epson salts and use the mitten, it works! Lots of gunky dead skin came off, it was amazing. I got the package with the Lite version and also the back strap version. The only one I could get to work as advertised was the original mitten. I'll keep trying and update if I can get the others to work.

I am sooooo disappointed in this product. read the reviews, read the directions and have tried it multiple times and these clothes DO NOT do as they claim. Normally I would chalk it up to my loss but I read the claims and reviews and purchased this “expensive” product in good faith. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

This product is amazing. I've only used it for a weeks, but my keritosis pilaris on my arms have completely cleared up. I live in a very dry climate, and have never found anything that has worked so well! I'll admit I was hesitant about the pricing at first, but now I consider it money well spent. Definitely worth the price. You'll thank yourself for it!

Okay, works about the same as a loofa , honestly did not notice much difference

So my man made fun of me for spending 100$ on “some wash rags” UNTIL he felt my skin afterward! He said it felt like baby skin! These work! I didn’t even soak for the 15 mins ahead of time because I was too curious! I did soak a bit then sat up in the tub and started with my legs... let’s just say that so much skin came off of my arms and legs that I disgusted even myself and had to drain the tub and rinse off! These “towels” are legit!! My skin feels so soft and smooth - I am excited to continue using the system to see how my skin (particularly on my face) might change!

Through trial and error I've developed the following routine which I've found quite effective at achieving exfoliation with my Baiden Mitt every other day while showering instead of soaking: 1) Dry brush body before stepping into shower. 2) Once in shower, shampoo and condition hair. Then wash body and shave legs using a glycolic cleanser, to increase cell turnover. Avoid direct use of glycolic cleanser on genitals (I use Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser) Rinse glycolic cleanser off. 4) Lather body a second time using bar of Kirk's Original Castile Soap which has a de-greasing effect and removes residual oils from previously used creme rinses, lotions and soaps. Rinse. 5) While still in shower, use a dry Baiden Mitt and exfoliate while keeping both Baiden Mitt and area being exfoliated away from the flow of water. ( I have found it best to keep mitt fairly dry during use and quickly swipe water from my limbs so they aren't excessively wet when I begin exfoliating.) BTW: I understand this mitt is expensive and for that reason I purchased two copy cat versions only to find neither worked. I don't know what Baiden's secret is but I'm a believer.
