A good value set.
A really good value way to get ARGB fans and strip.Editing my review, as now have a 2nd set, and have learned more on how to use these through trial and error. To use motherboard software to control LEDs via the hub, just press the off button on the RF remote whilst the hub is connected to the correct header on the motherboard. Et voila, you can use your motherboard to control the hub connected RGB products. You can plug the fans and LED strips into any of the 3 pin headers on the hub, just my first hub had a slide sizing issue with some of the holes maybe? These kits don't come with fan screws. 2 kits in now, no fan screws came with either kit from 2 different sellers. So unless you have screws already, you will need to order some.Better instructions, and fan screws included in the kit, and this would be a 5 star review.....

DO NOT BUY IS YOU VALUE YOUR COMPUTER
I had the fans in my pc for about 3 days and then i could smell burring and looked down and their was smoke coming from my pc. the fan hub was on fire and caused my pc to break and when i contacted amazon about this the did not care and wanted a repair shop to provide a report of the damage. i have advised amazon that my partner repairs computers and they say that this is not good enough to i would advise to avoid as they are a fire risk and can cause serious damage

Fans are ok, but PWM header has only 2 pins connected, not the required 4pin as stated!
So for those peeps who want this unit to control the fan speed via the motherboard, well the product states it has the 4 pin PWM header going from the controller to the motherboard...this is incorrect as the header only has 2 of the 4pins connected which is for power only! however there is a walk around which I used but required me to get to buy a PWM 3 way splitter to power and manage the fan speed by motherboard and use the controller just for the RGB lights on the fans. Hope this makes sense to anyone trying to get this to work off the motherboard PWM header, I hope Gamemax fix this issue and correct the stated information as their products are generally decent. Also please get rid of the Molex headers on the fans they are ancient now and a waste of space for the modern Era!

PRETTY DECENT PACKAGE
2 OF THE THREE WORK 1 seems dead no lighting ( minor quality control glitch i guess),, overall the ones that work, work fine, with my existing argb controller, sync is straight forward, so far so good, shame 1 was dead on arrival. could not be bothered to contact seller and go through hassle of sending back and replacing, as i had a different fan available to use, otherwise been in the pc case for few weeks now, and seem to be operating just fine. 4 stars due to one being faulty out of the three in a pack. the argb controller works fine and no issues with that, you also get a extra led argb 3 pin strip which works great too, apart from one being faulty out of the 3, i am still happy with this purchase. noise level of fans is hardly noticeable even on full speed, and the remote supplied works easily from a distance too. with a good combination of lighting modes, and even fan control speeds right from the remote itself.

Good fans for the price.
I bought two packs, all worked and there were fan screws in the packaging. I tested them out outside of the case because they're for a new build and the case hasn't arrived yet, but they push out a decent amount of air and are very quiet imo.I can't attest to the speed control yet, but I suspect that people have had the splitter box plugged into the SATA at the same time as their mobo and that's why they didn't have system control. You either have to have one or the other, not both. If you want your system to control the fans you need to set it to DC and not PWM in the bios and let the mobo supply the power from the fan header, if you have the SATA connected too it will just run on full power.I'll update once I've installed them.
