Great skates and are very comfortable ! I have wide feet and a bad bunion on one of my feet and typically wear wide, or extra wide, shoes. The toe box area on these are very comfortable right out of the box and don't hurt my feet at all ! Also, I typically wear a 12.5-13US and had to send the first pair of 13's back. Ordered the size 15US and they are perfect. Tongue padding a good and thick. Side note - to adjust your trucks, u will need a 17mm FLAT wrench. A normal 17mm wrench won't fit. Skates should come with one for the price, but that's my only complaint.

Very comfortable skate I would say by a size bigger than you think. I wear 13s I bought a size 14 and they fit amazing. And I have really wide feet. My son loves his as well. Again a size bigger. I'm pretty sure they're my most comfy pair of shoes. We just got in the skating last year. I had skated a lot when I was younger but was never really that good. These skates are just what I need. Definitely worth the money. I'm sure my son will buy his next pair from these guys as well. No blisters here!!

I used to skate as a kid, I’m 42 now. I decided on the fly I wanted to get into skating, dance, jam. I remember as a kid I ALWAYS wanted speed skates. I remember the fat/wide wheels were cool to me! I remember my mother bought me some “Cobra” skates from Walmart, thought I was cool till I grew out of them, and it was back to the rentals. I returned these GT-50s to try out the Fames. While trying out the GT-50s at the rink (didn’t use stock wheels) Used my Rollerbones 62/101a wheels, REDZ bearings. Love both wheels, and bearings. While skating my big toes started to hurt on both feet. I’m assuming from crossing over on turns having to push off with my toes. Upon getting home, ankles began to hurt. Now I know, I stated I’m getting back into this. I know I have to get my muscle memory back. So I’m wanting more ankle support, and comfortability. Hopefully the Fames are what I’m looking for. If not, I’ll keep trying.Let me tell’ya about these Fames…BUY THEM, JUST BUY THEM.3 hour sessions, absolute comfort. When I’m done, absolute comfort to my feet back to slides. I’m blown away about these skates. All around, I rate 20 out of 10.F the print on the wheels. It’s actually a reflective print (at least on mine) that at an angle it goes away. And even a rookie will want to change their bearings, and wheels to their favorite color! So my point is is that it’s not a big deal. When you look down on 8s you can’t see the side of the wheels anyway.I’m telling you people. If you want a comfortable skate, HERE THEY ARE.Also I upgraded my cushions to sure grip 85a purple. But they look black on my skates, which is cooo wit me anyway! Jeez was it a difference IMO to the movement of my trucks. To me, should be the FIRST thing you do. I mean, $16 for all 8 cushions.Old, or new to skating I promise you’ll be happy with these. And I’m just a normal dude, truck driver. I bought these skates, and all upgrades myself. Not talking for Sure Grip, nor Amazon. 100 percent real review here.

Bought for my son for Christmas! He loves them and skates every weekend! He is a size 15 and they are true to size, lots of padding for comfort. Very nice!

Amazing. I grew up skating with this brand, I think I had 5 or 6 different pairs and these are exactly how remember how I remember them. Good glide, support and fit.

I've put about 20 miles on these skates so far and I love them. These are my first pair of skates. I bought them to use on the streets of San Francisco in addition to roller rinks. The wheels that come with this package are for indoor use only. I bought outdoor wheels and better bearings than the Abec 5's that come with the skates to use outdoors. I'm a size 13 shoe. I printed the sizing template out and my foot was right at the edge of 13 on the Sure Grip sizing chart. I went up to a size 14 and they fit perfectly. The padding inside the skates is wonderful and hasn't lost its cushion yet but I've had em on for maybe 3 hours so far...padding may eventually compress and lose its cushion. If and when it does a pair of thick sox will be my plan to remedy any looseness after use. There's lacing patterns you can find online to remedy any issues that may arise due to the unique shape of your foot (heel lift, toenail pain, etc.) Very happy with my purchase so far.
